Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom official artwork and logo

Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is a bright and colorful third-person RPG that will have you take control of Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, a young king that suddenly found himself ousted from the throne and is now on a quest to reclaim his kingdom. Along the way you'll be able to roam across a massive open-world, visit various towns filled with quirky characters, delve through dungeons in search of loot and bosses to fight, and perhaps most obviously given the title, build and manage your very own kingdom.

While the most recent gameplay trailer unfortunately won't show you all of this in action, it will at least give you a decent idea of what the visuals and combat are all about. So if you're interested in Ni no Kuni 2, here's what the Brineskimmer boss fight looks like:

If all of this seems like the type of gameplay you might enjoy, you'll be glad to hear that Ni no Kuni 2 has now made its way to both PC and consoles alongside highly positive reviews. I haven't played it myself so I can't chime in with any personal opinions, but from all of the reviews I've read so far it seems to be a well crafted and light-hearted adventure. So if you don't mind the lack of super-serious themes and a slightly weaker difficulty curve, Ni no Kuni 2 looks like it's well worth checking out.

To learn more, or just check out some of the other gameplay videos, you should head on over to either Steam or the official website. Have fun!
