A Way Out is an exclusively co-op focused adventure that will have you and your partner take on the roles of two prisoners as they make a daring escape and seek out revenge against those that have wronged them. While this has nothing to do with the gameplay, it's important to mention that you will be able to do all of that with only one copy of the game, regardless if you decide to play online or in split-screen!

It that alone has got you as curious as I am, allow me to share with you the most recent gameplay trailer. It's a bit on the short side, but it should still give you a general idea of what to expect from A Way Out and whether it's something you can convince your friend to join you in. Have a gander:

I haven't played it myself, so take the following with a few grains of salt, but from the reviews I've read so far it appears that A Way Out is an entertaining albeit somewhat shallow adventure. It's one of those games you'll play through once, probably have a few laughs while doing so, and then never touch again. Whether that is something worth spending $30 on (or rather $15 per person), that is going to be up to you to decide.
