The XCOM inspired Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden now has a new trailer showing off what it's about

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is an upcoming video game adaptation of the 'Mutant' pen & paper RPG that has been around since the 1980s. The premise, as you might expect, is fairly simple - Humanity has managed to nuke itself into oblivion, thus leaving the planet populated by Mutants (deformed humans and animals alike), killer-robots, and plenty of ruins to loot for resources.
When it comes to gameplay, Mutant Year Zero is a mixture of turn-based combat and real-time exploration, along with some stealth thrown in for good measure. In other words, you'll be able to freely roam across the world and explore at your leisure, scavenge resources and talk to some rather colorful characters, and if you ever end up in battle you will find yourself in a turn-based combat system that is very reminiscent of XCOM. While the recently posted trailer won't give you much more in terms of details, it will at least give you an idea of what most of this looks like in-game. Have a gander:
All future content and updates have now been canceled for Friday the 13th: The Game

[Update]: Friday the 13th: The Game's very final update has now removed Dedicated Servers.
If you're a fan of Friday the 13th's asymmetrical multiplayer and completely over-the-top kill animations, I'm afraid I bring some bad news. Due to the ongoing efforts for the original screenwriter Victor Miller to cancel his copyright transfer, all development on all Friday the 13th related media has now been ordered to cease, and this includes Friday the 13th: The Game as well.
"I wanted to address a few questions that I’ve had sent to me personally, as well as questions we’ve received through the official F13 channels," reads the short developer update. "These questions vary but all have a similar tone/request. 'Is there a chance of any content being added to the game if a ruling on the dispute occurs in the near future?' The answer is no."
The second teaser for Overwatch's newest hero has now rolled in, quite literally

A couple of days ago Blizzard released a fairly small teaser for the next hero. It was quite literally a six-second-long video of a wall in Rialto, with very little else happening on screen. The only interesting part of the teaser was a small image of a monkey painted onto the wall, an image that immediately got people to speculate that the next hero will be Hammond - one of Winston's Moon-monkeys that seems to have orchestrated the downfall of the Horizon Lunar Colony.
The most recent teaser, however, is much more interesting! Instead of a static image of a wall, we now have a giant, seemingly-robotic ball rolling across the screen. Before I say anything else, you should probably go and check out the video over at the official Twitter.
Total War: Warhammer 2's recent update has added the mighty Kharibdyss and various balance changes

If you ever felt like the Dark Elves just don't have enough monstrosities in their unit roster, you'll be glad to hear that they have now received the Kharibdyss as a brand new unit. As you can probably figure out from the image alone, the Kharibdyss is a lumbering monstrosity that's capable of dealing high amounts of damage to large units, spew poison in every direction, and just for good measure, spread terror to all infantry unlucky enough to be close to it. Adorable, isn't it!
The one catch is that the Kharibdyss will only be available to owners of the most recent The Queen & The Crone DLC, though you will still be able to fight against it on both the campaign map and in multiplayer. Besides the new Dark Elf 'puppy', this update has also brought with it a variety of balance changes. You'll find the full patch notes over at the official website, but what I feel is worth highlighting the most are the numerous buffs to the somewhat underpowered Bretonnia.
Summer Games Done Quick 2018, a charity focused speedrunning marathon, has now begun

- in News
Summer Games Done Quick (as well as Awesome Games Done Quick) is a community organized event where speedrunners from all over the world gather to demolish the games you know and love, all in the name of charity. Much like the previous few years, all of the proceeds from Summer Games Done Quick 2018 will be going to Doctors Without Borders.
The marathon has only recently begun, so if you would like to join in and see what SGDQ has to offer, simply head on over to Twitch. If you don't have the time, however, worry not as all of the runs will be uploaded on Youtube in the near future. Chances are the early uploads will have some audio issues, as is tradition, but if you can wait for a couple of days everything should be sorted out.
Season 10 of Overwatch Competitive Play is set to end in a couple of days, on June 27th

If you're getting close to the next bracket, or if you haven't even done your placement matches, you might want to hurry up as the 10th season of Overwatch Competitive Play is just about ready to end. To be more specific, Season 10 will end on June 27 at 5:00pm PDT, or rather on Thursday, June 28 at 00:00 UTC.
As always, your rewards at the end will depend on your season high, rather than your final rating. In other words, if you're really close to the next tier and you feel like you have what it takes, I would highly recommend grinding out a couple of matches in order to try and reach that goal. After all, you have very little to lose since the next season will reshuffle your rating anyway.
Ubisoft's The Crew 2 is having a free Open Beta until June 25th for both PC and consoles
- By Ash

The Crew 2 is an open-world racing game were you can explore a scaled-down recreation of the United States with a variety of vehicles such as cars, boats, airplanes and so forth. If all of that sounds like something you would love to try out, you'll be glad to hear that The Crew 2 devs are currently holding an Open Beta for PC and consoles.
You can find out more, as well as download the game itself, over at the official website. I would recommend you do so as soon as possible given that the Open Beta will only last for a couple of days, until June 25th to be exact. Once that's done you'll probably have to wait until the June 29th release date to get another chance to jump in.
