Castlevania inspired Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has now finally arrived

[Update]: The roguelike game mode has now been canceled, but in its place Ritual of the Night is getting a highly customizable Randomizer mode.
While the development on Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night initially seemed to be a bit troubled, things have greatly improved over the past year or so. New features ended up getting announced, the combat got significantly more polished, and perhaps most importantly of all, the often complained about artstyle received a significant makeover!
With that in mind, I am very happy to say that the good news hasn't stopped now that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has fully released. Not only have the developers announced there will be 13 free DLCs coming in the future, but the long-rumored third character has ended up being none other than the legendary Shovel Knight!
Due to a bug, Brigitte's ultimate in Overwatch is a lot stronger than intended

[Update]: The latest update has now corrected this problem, as well as added a whole bunch of other changes and content
Out of all the heroes in Overwatch, both new and old, none have been as controversial as Brigitte. She not only ushered in the highly annoying triple tank and triple support meta, but her initial incarnation was so ridiculously powerful that she received nearly a dozen nerfs in a row without ever leaving the meta.
With that in mind, you might be interested to hear that apparently a part of her power is due to a rather devious little bug. Instead of simply giving Brigitte and her allies additional armor, it would appear that her ultimate Rally constantly gives more and more layers of armor, each of which stacks to further reduce the damage of incoming attacks. Once all fifteen armor layers are fully stacked, this bug can reduce incoming damage by 45% more than your standard armor, which would explain why Brigitte feels downright invincible during Rally!

After being teased a little while ago, the Xbox Game Pass has now finally made its way to PC as well. So if you're looking for something to play but don't feel like paying full price, you might want to give it a try as the current offer is pretty darn good!
During its introductory month the Xbox Game Pass will be only $1, while the following months will set you back $5. It does appear that the price will eventually increase to $10, so if you're even remotely curious, you might want to take advantage of this offer sooner rather than later.
World of Warcraft's next update will put a stop to level-boosting

[Update]: Blizzard has clarified that the experience reduction will not kick in when queuing for random dungeons or battlegrounds.
If you've taken even a single glance at World of Warcraft's trade chat, chances are you're well aware that the there are quite a few people offering level-boosting services. While their methods and characters may differ, usually this is done by taking a ridiculously geared level 110 character into a Battle for Azeroth dungeon or Island Expedition, and then using the somewhat broken scaling system to decimate the place within minutes, all the while providing heaps of experience for everyone in the party.
However, once the 8.2 update rolls around, this will no longer be possible. According to the recent PTR changes, anyone who chooses to put a pause to their experience gains will also reduce the experience received by everyone in their group by 95%!

If you're looking for a reason to revisit Starbound, the latest 1.4 update might be just what you're looking for. The aptly named Bounty Hunter update brings with it numerous procedurally-generated quests that will task you with hunting down the worst scum of the universe, a whole bunch of new monster variants, new mini-dungeons, new furniture, and the list goes on.
You can get a pretty good idea of what all this looks like in-game, as well as what the bounty quests have to offer, through the recently posted trailer. Have a gander:

[Update #2]: Overwatch is getting its very own novel starring Orisa and Efi - The Hero of Numbani.
[Update]: Blizzard has now released a Mercy short story alongside her very own challenge skin.
After what feels like an eternity of waiting, Blizzard has now once again released some juicy Overwatch lore. Without going into too much detail, the "What you left behind" short story explores Baptiste's ties to Talon, the reason he left the organization, as well as teases what might just be a brand new tank hero!
You can find the full short story over at the official website, and if you're a fan of Overwatch lore, I would highly recommend you give it a read as it's actually a pretty fun one. Also, you might want to check out the skin teaser at the very bottom as that's what we're getting in the near future!
Apex Legends devs have updated the list of bugs and issues they're currently working on fixing

[Update]: Respawn has now released an official Trello Tracker detailing what bugs they're currently working on fixing.
Apex Legends has recently received a fairly sizable bug-fixing update, but there are still quite a few of the little buggers that need to be squashed. Thankfully, Respawn does appear to be on the case as they have just released an updated list of the bugs and gameplay problems they're currently working on.
The first and most important thing to mention is that they are now finally investigating Pathfinder's often problematic hitbox. Whether they're going to change the hitbox itself or tweak some of the behind-the-scene properties to make it behave less erratically, nobody currently knows, but I'm certainly looking forward to the day where bullets don't simply pass through Pathfinder's chest as if he's ghost!
