Star Wars Battlefront's Death Star trench run

Given that we've seen it destroyed not once, not twice, but technically three times across the various Star Wars movies it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that Star Wars: Battlefront will also give you a swing at the biggest punching bag the universe has ever known - The Death Star.

Star Wars: Battlefront's third expansion pack will bring with it a couple of new maps set on the Death Star or in space, a bunch of new weapons and star cards, and most excitingly for fans, the triumphant arrival of Chewbacca as a playable hero. Here's the trailer showing off the Death Star, and yes, the trench run as well:

Eyedol from the newest Killer Instinct

Eyedol, the extremely cheap and infinitely frustrating final boss of the original Killer Instinct, will be making his grand reappearance as Killer Instinct Season 3's final character. A fitting title given his final boss status.

While you might remember him as a two-headed goat-ogre with a pair of faces only a two-headed mother could love, the years have not been kind on poor ol' Eyedol as he's completely lost one head and the other one has been magically split in half. Here's a recently posted trailer showing of all of his natural beauty and fighting prowess:

Minecraft: Story Mode's PAMA computer

If you haven't been keeping up with the news the past couple of months you're no doubt wondering how in the blazing nether-hells does a five-episode series somehow get to episode 7? The answer is quite simple as the original narrative concluded in episode 4, and since Telltale had a bunch more stories to tell they decided to extend Season 1 of Minecraft: Story Mode to a grand total of 8 episodes.

Throughout the upcoming "Episode 7 - Access Denied" you will need to help Jesse and the crew deal with PAMA, a sinister "thinking machine" purely designed to make everyone and everything as efficient and optimal as possible, much to the detriment of those being enhanced. Here's the trailer to hopefully give you a better idea of what nonsense I'm talking about:

Total War: Warhammer's Call of the Beastmen Minotaur in action

As announced last week, Total War: Warhammer's first substantial DLC, Call of the Beastmen, will be arriving on July 28th with a whole host of blood-crazed abominations, two new Legendary Lords, and an additional campaign map with the unique "Eye for an Eye" Beastmen story campaign.

Amidst the various half-human monstrosities that make out the Warherds of the Beastmen, the Minotaurs are some of the most fearsome foes as they frequently succumb to the blood-greed and charge straight through enemy lines with reckless abandon and devastating results. If you're interested in learning a bit more about the Minotaurs, or just want to see one of them in action, here's a recently posted video showcasing just that:

Gary Busey is now a part of the newest Hitman game

Only a couple of days have passed since Hitman's sixth Elusive Target appeared and already IO is announcing a brand new one. The twist this time around, however, is that the target was chosen through an online "Choose Your Hit" campaign where fans got to vote between two Hollywood stars: Gary Cole and Gary Busey.

As you can probably guess from the title, Gary Busey has managed to secure the popular vote and as such he will appear as a special Elusive Target on Thursday, July 21 at 2pm CEST / 5pm PDT. Given the rather... unique status of this Elusive Contract, the whole event is set to last for an entire week, so try not to miss it as its bound to be something special.

Bandai Namco's black background logo

Its been known for a while now that Bandai Namco will be showcasing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Tekken 7 at this year's Gamescom, but it appears that's not all they're going to be showing off.

In a press release that came out today, Bandai Namco's Vice President of Marketing & PR announced that they are planning to reveal a brand new IP aimed at a western audience. Here's the brief announcement message:

Knights of the Eternal Throne official artwork

During the recent 5th anniversary celebration EA has announced a brand new expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic - Knights of the Eternal Throne. You can expect to see even more cinematic storytelling, a whole bunch of new gameplay features, and one of the biggest updates SWTOR has ever received once the expansion finally arrives at some point this fall.

Since the details on Knights of the Eternal Throne are still fairly light, allow me to share with you the cinematic trailer for SWTOR's previous expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire. Its one of the best trailers I've seen in recent years, and as one of the Youtube commenters said, it manages to tell a better story in 4 minutes than the entirety of the prequels:

Fallout 4's Vault-Tec Workshop screenshot

Given Fallout Shelter's massive popularity on the mobile market, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that Bethesda has decided to upscale the premise and bring it to Fallout 4 as well.

In the upcoming Vault-Tec Workshop DLC you will be able to create a massive Vault of your own and equip it with various pieces of pre-war technology, retro furniture, bizarre artwork and all of the facilities a good Vault needs to function. Naturally, as any good Overseer will tell you, all this work is to ensure you have enough voluntary subjects Vault Dwellers to run totally scientific, Vault-Tec approved experiments upon. For science!

Undertale screenshot showcasing the library

Undertale, the Internet's darling RPG and one of the rare few games that actually managed to completely blindside me with its quality, is now available on Linux and SteamOS. As an added bonus, its also currently on a 33% discount, so if you were ever interested in giving it a try, now would be the best time to do so.

As for why you should spend your hard earned money and time on it, that's not an easy question to answer without ruining the whole experience. To put it simply, however, Undertale is a charming RPG filled with unique and interesting characters, a kickass soundtrack, and a world that constantly changes due to your actions, be they positive or negative. Here's the trailer to hopefully give you an idea of what I'm talking about:

Star Wars: Trials of Tatooine lightsaber screenshot

From the very moment the first motion controllers appeared on the market people have been clamoring for a game that allows them to slice and dice enemies like a true Jedi, and with the advent of virtual reality these demands have only become louder.

This is where Star Wars: Trials of Tatooine comes into play, and even though its not a fully fledged game but rather a tech demo, its still a brief chance to forget the real world and start waving around with a lightsaber of your own. Here's a brief trailer showcasing what exactly Trials of Tatooine is all about:
