Stardew Valley, as you might know, has been been entirely developed by ConcernedApe (Eric Barone) and while that has done wonders for its gameplay and visuals, the technical aspects of development are not so easy to handle alone. Thankfully, after the relatively recent partnership with the publisher Chucklefish, Stardew Valley has been announced for many more platforms as there is now an entire team working on the technical side of things while ConcernedApe handles future content updates.
The first example of this partnership in action has appeared yesterday as Stardew Valley has been released for both Mac and Linux platforms simultaneously. The Steam build has already been updated, so if you own a copy of Stardew Valley on Steam you will be able to play it on any of the platform without a single issue. The GOG version will only get updated in a couple of days, however, so stay tuned if you've bought it over there.

Rainbow Six Siege is by many accounts a pretty damn good game, but despite featuring anti-cheat technology from the very beginning it simply couldn't do enough to prevent the slow but steady increase in cheaters on the PC version, which as you might imagine didn't go over well with the general public.
Thankfully, after many months of work Ubisoft has finally added an extra tool to their arsenal against cheaters, a client-side anti-cheat system. While it most likely won't stop every single cheater out there, this is an important step towards ensuring that Rainbow Six Siege remains as fair as possible, a notion the development team seems to share if the announcement message is anything to go by:

This year's The International is set to be the biggest one yet, and given the quality of the teams going to it and the obscene size of the prize pool, its definitely going to be one of the most exciting tournaments in Dota history.
While you can already watch it for free through the Dota 2 client or on Twitch, Valve has decided to take things a bit further by putting in a VR spectator mode! The whole thing is currently in its early stages and as such there are plenty of little bugs and missing features, but even with all of that considered its still beyond impressive. If you're wondering what it all looks like, here's a Youtube video that manages to perfectly capture the magic of VR Dota, just skip to around 1:20 to get to the good part:

World of Warcraft's Kharazan is a somber place where the ghosts of those long-dead wander endlessly, bound there by demonic magic. The version of Kharazan arriving to Hearthstone on August 12, however, is a bit... different.
In a moment of madness, or pure brilliance depending on your perspective, the Great Magus Medivh has transformed the arcane tower of Kharazan into the ultimate celebration destination with plenty of dancing and feasting to be had by all. Perhaps it would be best if you just saw the trailer, and do try and pay attention to the lyrics, they're quite something:

Khadgar has been an important presence in the Warcraft universe ever since the events of Warcraft 2, but despite all of his efforts he ended up being neglected throughout the majority of World of Warcraft's storyline. He did eventually return with the Warlords of Draenor expansion, and in quite a grand fashion given that he singlehandedly saves us multiple times throughout the story, but even with all of that considered there's very little character development dedicated to poor ol' Khadgar.
Since the upcoming Legion expansion is going to feature Khadgar front and center in the fight against the Burning Legion, Blizzard has decided to finally do him a solid and release an animated short detailing his quest for knowledge, a weapon, or anything that might help with the battle ahead. Here's the video, simply titled as Harbingers - Khadgar:

Its not uncommon for games to get delayed as various bugs and game-breaking issues can occur at any stage of testing, but This Is the Police has quite the unusual reason for why it has missed its July 28th release date... the publisher forgot to submit it for final approval from Steam!
According to the announcement, this quality assurance process will take only around 4-5 days, and as such This Is the Police has been delayed until August 2nd. Unfortunately for those of you that might have planned to buy This Is the Police via GOG, that version of the game has also been delayed in order to ensure a simultaneous launch. Here's the brief message from the publisher, EuroVideo:

No Man's Sky is a bit of a bizarre phenomena. There is an absolutely massive amount of excitement surrounding it, with plenty of people already claiming its going to be the best exploration focused game that ever existed, and yet we still have essentially no idea what the moment-to-moment gameplay is going to look like.
To hopefully clear out some of the confusion the developers have recently started posting a variety of videos as a part of the "Guide to the Galaxy" series, all with the intent to familiarize the players with No Man's Sky and its world ahead of lunch. The fourth and final video in this series was released today and its all about surviving in some of the harshest environments the universe can throw at you. Here's the video and a brief description that came along with it:

We are the Dwarves is a brutally difficult real-time tactical adventure that tasks you with escorting a trio of Dwarven Space Marines through a variety of levels filled with traps, enemies, and even more traps. Since each Dwarf has numerous spells and abilities at their disposal, controlling all of them in the middle of combat can become incredibly stressful, even though there is an option to briefly pause time and queue up your actions.
This sort of brutal, punishing difficulty was one of my main complaints when I first reviewed We are the Dwarves, but it appears that the developers have recently found a way to not only correct the issue, but add in a nifty new feature as well. As you can probably guess from the title, this new feature is local co-op that allows you and two other buddies to each control a single Dwarf and accomplish far more than any single person ever could.

[Update]: It took a successful Kickstarter campaign, many years in development, as well as a completely pointless name change due to ZeniMax, but Praey for the Gods has now finally arrived onto PC, PlayStation and Xbox!
Prey for the Gods, a Shadow of the Colossus inspired survival-adventure, has managed to surpass its $300,000 funding goal with 9 days left on the Kickstarter clock. With its future now secure, all of the upcoming pledges will go towards stretch goals that include new animations, weapons, bosses, and other such things.
Most importantly, however, the console versions have been completely removed from the stretch goals in order to free up room for more bosses and items... and are now instead a guaranteed feature! If you would like to learn more about Prey for the Gods, here's the official trailer to clue you in on the story and what sort of gameplay you can expect:
