[Update]: It took a successful Kickstarter campaign, many years in development, as well as a completely pointless name change due to ZeniMax, but Praey for the Gods has now finally arrived onto PC, PlayStation and Xbox!

Prey for the Gods, a Shadow of the Colossus inspired survival-adventure, has managed to surpass its $300,000 funding goal with 9 days left on the Kickstarter clock. With its future now secure, all of the upcoming pledges will go towards stretch goals that include new animations, weapons, bosses, and other such things.

Most importantly, however, the console versions have been completely removed from the stretch goals in order to free up room for more bosses and items... and are now instead a guaranteed feature! If you would like to learn more about Prey for the Gods, here's the official trailer to clue you in on the story and what sort of gameplay you can expect:

If your interest is now piqued and you wish to support Prey for the Gods in order to unlock some of the stretch goals, the cheapest tier with a digital copy of the game is currently set at $15. The release date, while not exactly reliable, is set for December 2017, so do keep in mind that you're going to be in for a bit of a wait.

Finally, here's a brief message the developers sent out to thank everyone that supported their project:

"Chien, Tim and I are blown away with the your passion, excitement and most importantly your support. Committing to a Kickstarter is no easy task. It's a roller coaster of emotions and your private messages, comments, and feedback kept us going.  We listened and will continue to listen long after this campaign is done. We know this is how Prey for the Gods will become the best it can be. We are so ready to do this.

Thank you all so much!

Chien, Tim and Brian - No Matter Studios"
