After being rumored and teased for well over two years now, Valve has finally decided to spill the beans on the two new heroes: Underlord (aka Pit lord, aka Abyssal Underlord) and Monkey King.
Since Underlord is a fairly well known face among the Dota 2 scene, or at least among those that played Dota 1, let's start with the trailer for the brand new Monkey King:

If you've been playing Overwatch as much as I have, especially if you enjoy fast paced heroes such as Genji or Tracer, you've most likely experienced the wonderful feeling of being shot around corners, behind walls, and in the middle of your "get out of jail free" ability.
Thankfully, the developers have not ignored these "minor" complaints, but have instead spent the past two months working to ensure that Overwatch always feels fair, both for the shooter and for the one getting shot at. With that in mind, Blizzard has just recently started rolling out high bandwidth Overwatch servers for both Competitive and Quick Play! If you're wondering what on Earth that even means, here's the brief explanation from Blizzard:

While Windows 10 was still in its infancy Microsoft promised they would slowly but surely start bridging the gap between the Xbox One and PC. Much to my surprise, and unlike the past 10 years of promises to do exactly that sort of thing, Microsoft actually went through with their plans and started allowing numerous Xbox One exclusives to make their way to the PC as well.
Initially it seemed that the one big requirement for this transition from console to PC was Windows 10 exclusivity, but now that Quantum Break has announced its move to Steam it appears that the whole "Windows 10 exclusive" tag might be a timed thing only. As for Quantum Break, if this is your first time hearing about it, here's a relatively recent trailer to hopefully give you an idea of what its all about:

With World of Warcraft's big Legion expansion just around the corner, Blizzard has decided to double up on the pre-expansion excitement/madness by introducing not only the first chapter of the new story, but also the long awaited Demon Hunter class.
While the Broken Shore and Burning Legion Invasions are available to all, the Demon Hunters are reserved for those that pre-order the Legion expansion. Unfortunately for those among you that have purchased the Collector's Edition, there is no way to prove your ownership until your boxed copy finally arrives... right before Legion's launch on August 30th.

While not without its controversies, Hearthstone's One Night In Kharazan adventure has finally arrived with a dozen new cards, 4 bosses, and a whole bunch of new and interesting mechanics. Its a bit premature, I'm fully aware of that, but from playing the first wing alone I am confident in saying that this might just be the best adventure Hearthstone has seen to date. The boss fights are just that good!
If you know absolutely nothing about One Night in Kharazan and wish to learn more through the medium of disco music, here's the relatively recent announcement trailer:

Gwent was originally designed as a simple minigame for The Witcher 3, but due to circumstances no one could have predicted it became immensely popular, so much so that CDPR decided to create a standalone game out of it.
While Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is still under heavy development, CDPR announced back at E3 that they would be holding a closed beta in September in order to iron out all of the kinks and hopefully bring Gwent into some sort of a balanced state before the open beta. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your perspective, the Gwent team has decided to postpone the closed beta to October 25th in order to add an extra bit of polish before they hand it off to the community. Here's the brief announcement message:

With Dead Rising 1, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record all coming over to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 13th, it makes perfect sense that the PC will also be getting Dead Rising 1 in order to complete the series.
As noted on the recently updated Steam page, Dead Rising 1 will arrive on PC with a brand new save system that supports five save slots, native controller support, resolution settings that extend to 4K and beyond, uncapped frame rate and support for 144Hz monitors, customizable keybinds (something that's a rarity these days), and finally, Russian localization.
Since finding a high quality trailer of Dead Rising 1 is nearly impossible these days, here's the recent Anniversary Announcement Trailer that features bits of gameplay from the updated version of Dead Rising 1:

With No Man's Sky now released on the PS4, Humble Bundle has decided to capitalize on the three day wait PC gamers have to endure by offering up 7 survival and exploration themed games to pass the time.
While this is a genre I'm not a fan of, mostly because all of the actually interesting games seem to be forever stuck in Early Access, I can at the very least say that Space Engineers is one of the most unique and creative games I've played in recent years. In other words, if you do decide to grab the Humble "Survive This" Bundle, make sure to go for the second tier ($5) as Space Engineers alone is well worth your time, provided you're into that sort of gameplay.
Here's one of the trailers to hopefully give you an idea of what Space Engineers is all about:

Shadwen is a relatively recent stealth game from Frozenbyte, the developers behind the Trine series, and while I would love to tell you its an astonishingly good sneak-a-thon, the unfortunate truth is that Shadwen is rather unpolished, even for an indie game. However, out of all the complaints I outlined in my review, it was the level design that impacted my enjoyment the most given that each level was a linear series of arenas, and as such incredibly easy to exploit.
Thankfully, it does appear that Frozenbyte has taken these sort of complaints to heart as they have just released 14 completely re-worked levels for free, as well as a whole bunch of bug fixes and improvements to the game's otherwise basic AI. Best of all, the difficulty curve has been increased and a whole bunch of new hidden treasure scattered across the maps, so there is now going to be an actual incentive to go outside the beaten path and explore every nook and cranny.

[Update]: Dungeon Fighter Online is getting an Arc System Works developed fighting game spin-off - DNF Duel.
Dungeon Fighter Online is an action orientated 2D brawler with some MMORPG elements thrown in for good measure, and naturally, an anime art style to justify all of the ridiculous slicing and dicing that occurs throughout each of the missions.
While DFO has been around for many years now, its population is soon going to experience a rather large influx of new players as it will be released on Steam within the hour. If you're interested in a brief glimpse at the gameplay and the various character classes available, here's the trailer:
