WWE 2K17 screenshot from the PC version

If you were itching for a bit of "totally not fake" wrestling on your PC, you'll be glad to hear that WWE 2K17 will be arriving on February 7th. WWE 2K17 has been available on the consoles since last fall, so we are getting it with a bit of a delay, but on the positive side it is coming over a month earlier than last year's entry.

For those of you interested in what the newest installment looks like, you'll find the most recent launch trailer down below. It doesn't feature much in terms of gameplay, but it does give a nice overview of what to expect. Have a look:

Titanfall 2's official screenshot

Only a month has passed since Angel City's Most Wanted, Titanfall 2's first free piece of DLC, and apparently the team is almost ready to deliver another update. The upcoming Live Fire DLC will add a brand new 6v6 Pilot-only mode that revolve around competitive, close quarters combat with no respawns. In order to win the round you will need to either eliminate the enemy team, or hold the neutral flag when the round timer ends. As such, I am expecting the game mode to primarily focus around teamwork and mobility skills, as staying together and staying alive is going to be of the utmost importance.

Besides the new game mode there will also be three new maps to toy around with. Two of these, Stacks and Meadow, will be designed specifically with the Live Fire game mode in mind, so expect to see a whole bunch of enclosed "death boxes" and plenty of routes to flank the enemy with. The third and final map is going to be a brand new Coliseum map called Columns, though the developers haven't released any information on it just yet... but I think its safe to say it will feature a whole bunch of columns!

Patches the Pirate from Hearthstone

If you've tried to play any homebrew deck in Hearthstone the past month or so, you're probably well aware of how powerful the pirate package is. Every single class that can run the strong early game pirates is running them, and everyone else is designing their decks in order to counter them. While this is usually how balance is achieved in card games, the problem with pirates is that they make each match feel incredibly similar, mostly because all three classes that run them are trying to get the same opening move.

Thankfully, during the most recent Q&A Blizzard's Designer Dean Ayala and Game Director Ben Brode have come out to say that they are keeping a close eye on the pirate package. When the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan first launched the pirate based classes represented a very high percentage of decks, but as counters got developed their popularity took a slight hit. However, they are still a bit more popular than the developers are comfortable with, and if they remain as dominant as they are currently the developers are going to step in and see how best to fix the problem.

Mass Effect: Andromeda Nomad rover schematics

If you prefer storytelling and exploration over straight up action, then you might want to check out the most recent Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer. Rather than focus on blowing up a whole variety of hostile aliens, the entire 3 minute video is dedicated to the various aspects of the Tempest scout ship and its one-of-a-kind, all-terrain rover Nomad.

So if you're interested in a bit of a different look at Mass Effect: Andromeda, and don't mind the complete lack of action, you'll find the most recent trailer right below. Have a gander:

Conan from the upcoming Conan Exiles survival game

Conan Exiles is an upcoming open-world survival game with a heavy focus on teamwork, base-building, and naturally, wrecking everything other people took tons of teamwork to actually build. If you would like to learn more about the gameplay side of things I would recommend you head over here to check out one of the most recent preview videos.

As for the system requirements, you'll be glad to hear that the minimum is most definitely on the reasonable side of things, and odds are the vast majority of you will be able to play Conan Exiles quite comfortably. But if you would like crank everything to ultra, that's going to require one hell of a machine, as you'll see in the full system requirements down below. Have a look:

DiRT Showdown screenshot featuring a rather nasty car crash

If you feel the urge to race around and crash into other drivers the moment you start losing, you're in luck as Humble Bundle is offering DiRT Showdown for free for the next two days. But even if you don't have any inclination towards racing I would still recommend taking them up on this offer as I have a feeling DiRT Showdown is going to be taken off the market rather soon. Car and music licenses don't last forever, and renewing them for fairly old games isn't very economical, so its unfortunately common for racing games to just kind of disappear after a couple of years.

And for those of you interested in seeing what DiRT Showdown is all about, you'll find one of the launch trailers down below. It doesn't feature much in terms of gameplay, but it should give you a general idea of what to expect. Have a look:

Torment: Tides of Numenera shielded city artwork

Torment: Tides of Numenera is an upcoming story-focused RPG heavily inspired by Planescape: Torment. What this means in gameplay terms is that Torment: Tides of Numenera has a massive world filled with interesting characters you can interact with, and even more interesting events you can potentially meddle with.

Its currently in Early Access, but if you would like to give it a try without spending any of your hard earned money, you now have a chance to do so as the developers have released a rather brilliant interactive trailer. The video below will guide you through a single quest and all of the decisions you can make along the way, as well as all of the resolutions you can end up with depending on your choices. So if you're interested in a bit of storytelling, I'd recommend you give it a look:

For Honor screenshot showcasing a knight in battle

If you were hoping to give For Honor a try ahead of its February 14th release date, you'll be glad to hear that Ubisoft has just announced the closed beta schedule. Starting on January 26th and ending on January 29th you'll be able to play as all three factions in an all-out war for domination, with the winners being given a special reward at the very end. What exactly that reward will be, Ubisoft didn't specify, but given that this is their big marketing event I would imagine its going to be something quite special, so don't let your side down!

Besides all of the closed beta information, the announcement also came with a brand new trailer. If you're hoping for some actual gameplay, I'm afraid you won't find it here, but if you're interested in some lovely imagery and loads of nonsense about honor, then you're going to feel right at home. Heroes of the Storm artwork featuring Illidan fighting Tyrael

If you ever wanted to give Heroes of the Storm a try, now would be the best time to do so as Blizzard has made all of the characters free to play. The promotion will only last until 10am PST on January 16th, so make sure to jump in as soon as possible, or else you might not have enough time to give all of the heroes a proper try.

And if you haven't been paying attention to Heroes of the Storm this past year and are now wondering what in the world has even changed, you'll be glad to hear that Blizzard has posted a brief video summarizing all of the recent additions. Have a look:

Styx: Shards of Darkness screenshot featuring a massive level

Styx: Shards of Darkness is an upcoming stealth game heavily inspired by the Thief series. What this means is that it features plenty of open-ended levels crawling with guards, a variety of weapons and tools to either dispatch or bypass them, as well as stealth mechanics that revolve around careful planning and fluid execution rather than brute force.

And what better way to showcase all of that than to have the main character obliterate a whole bunch of guards in the most loud and obvious way possible! So if you're interested in the more action-orientated side of Shards of Darkness, and also love videos set to moody music, you might just enjoy this rather silly trailer. Have a look:
