Subnautica screenshot showcasing a giant Leviathan skull

With Subnautica's May release date fast approaching the developers have really started cranking out updates. A mere month and a half has passed since the last one, and already we have a bunch of new content to explore. There's an alien infection that needs to be cured, a terrifying research facility to explore, a new Biome in the shape of the Crag Field, and the list goes on.

If you're interested in seeing what all of this looks like in action, here's the recently posted preview trailer. I would recommend you turn up the volume because these previews tend to have some pretty damn good music, and this one is no exception! Anyway, have a look:

After the success of the Leviathans Story Pack Paradox has decided to tackle another sci-fi favorite - the concept of utopia and its various interpretations. The expansion will bring with it a variety of new ways to developer your empire, everything ranging from keeping intergalactic peace to crafting your very own Warhammer 40,000 themed Empire hellbent on purging the world of chaos and disorder. There will also be a new megastructures to build, special perks to unlock, new policies to meddle with, as well as a whole bunch of other minor features.

If you're a bit confused by that description, allow me to show you the recently posted teaser trailer. There is unfortunately no actual gameplay, but it should give you a good idea of what sort of themes Utopia is going for. Have a look:

Snake Pass screenshot showcasing the charming Noodle

Snake Pass is an upcoming retro collecathon where instead of jumping all over the place you'll be able to coil around bamboo, slide alongside walls, extend your body in order to reach distant places, and pretty much everything else you might imagine a snake doing. Since all of this sounds incredibly complicated the developers have decided to release a lengthy gameplay preview showcasing and explaining all of the movement mechanics.

So if you're interested in learning how to become a better snake, and also checking out what Snake Pass is all about, you'll find the developer preview right below. If you want to skip the introduction and just get into the action make sure to set the video time to 1:20. Anyway, have a look:

Total War: Warhammer's Bretonnia faction screenshot

After a couple of weeks of teasers and preview videos Total War: Warhammer now finally has Bretonnia as a fully playable faction on the campaign map. Bretonnia brings with it three Legendary Lords (King Louen Leoncoeur, Alberic of Bordeleaux and the Fay Enchantress), unique quests and starting positions for each one, as well as a whole host of updated units you might know from the multiplayer mode.

If you're interested in seeing what Bretonnia looks like in action you'll find the recently posted developer preview right below. It features around ~13 minutes of Orc-slaying goodness, along with brief explanations of what the various Bretonnian units do on the field of battle. Have a look:

Dawn of War 3 Space Marine vs Eldar battle

Dawn of War 3 is an upcoming real-time strategy game set in the grim darkness of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Given the rather peculiar art style associated with Warhammer 40,000 the designers at Relic have spent a long time making sure it looks 'right', and whether they have successfully managed to do so you can see for yourself in the latest video.

So if you're interested in a brief overview of Dawn of War 3's environments, level design, and visuals, you'll find the developer-guided preview video right below. Have a look:

Orisa is Overwatch's 24th hero

After an entire week of teasers and rumors Blizzard has finally revealed Overwatch's 24th hero. As you can probably guess from the title alone, its going to be an Omnic tank by the name of Orisa. With very low mobility and a variety of ways to soak up damage it appears she's going to compete with Reinhardt for the spot of 'main tank', though whether she's going to work equally well on defense and offense is still up for debate.

If you're interested in learning more about Orisa (OR15-A) you'll find the recently posted Developer Update right below. But if you just want the short version, her hero profile page is now available on the Overwatch website. Anyway, here's the video:

Toukiden 2 screenshot of a battle against a giant demon

Toukiden 2 is an open-world demon-hunting RPG most similar to the Monster Hunter series. As you can imagine from that comparison alone, in Toukiden 2 you will spend most of your time hunting down gigantic enemies, collecting various spiky body parts, and then using those to create even better weapons to hunt even greater demons.

If you're interested in seeing what all of this might look like in action, here's the recently posted trailer detailing all of the important gameplay elements, including the ability to chop demons up one limb at a time. Have a look:

Bastion from Overwatch's Last Bastion short

[Update]: The patch is now live on the PTR alongside a brand new hero by the name of Orisa!

The fourth season of Overwatch Competitive Play arrived a couple of days ago alongside some rather significant buffs to everyone's favorite murderbot Bastion. Unfortunately for players trying to do their placement matches this week the buffs ended up catapulting Bastion straight to the top as one of the best DPS heroes around. As it turns out, being nigh invincible is pretty damn good!

But don't worry, the developers are aware of the problems and will soon be putting out a PTR patch to slightly tone down Bastion. He should still be a lot more powerful than his old and underused self, but he will on longer be able to stand still and shrug off damage like its nothing. You can find Jeff Kaplan's full post over at the Blizzard forums, but if you're just looking for the short version, here it is:

Total War: Warhammer's Archaon the Everchosen

If you have even an inkling of interest in Total War: Warhammer make sure to check out the currently ongoing Humble Monthly Bundle. For the next two days you can grab Total War: Warhammer and a whole bunch of mystery games for an astonishingly low $12. Even if you completely ignore all of the bonus games, $12 for Total War: Warhammer alone is one hell of a bargain given that this is by far and wide the cheapest it has ever been!

Just make sure to unsubscribe once you pick up your games, that is if you're not interested in going for another month. There's no need to rush given that you won't be billed again until halfway through March, but its still better to do it early while its fresh on your mind.

TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue remaster screenshot featuring a lot of characters

After successfully releasing an HD remaster for TY the Tasmanian Tiger, Krome Studios will now be doing the same for TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue. TY 2 will be coming to Steam on March 20th, but much like the original it will spend its first few months in Early Access in order to iron out any potential issues and to see what the community wants in terms of new features.

If you're interested in seeing what the developers have cooked up so far, here's the recently posted gameplay trailer. Sadly its a bit on the short side, but it should still be enough to give you a good idea of what TY 2 will look like. Here's the video:
