After many months of patches and updates, the HD remake of the classic 3D platformer Ty the Tasmanian Tiger has now officially released from Steam Early Access. And it would appear all those updates were well worth the trouble given that Ty currently holds an impressive 99% approval rating on Steam with around a 1000 user reviews - not something you see very often, especially not with Early Access games!

For those of you wondering what exactly is new in this HD remake, the answer is pretty much just the improved visuals and the fact that its now available on the PC. In other words, the textures and shadows have been greatly improved, water quality has gone up significantly, and most importantly, Ty now supports HD resolutions and 60 FPS. And for those of you that care about such things, there are also achievements and Steam leaderboards to compete it, as well as a variety of Steam Trading Cards to collect.
