Kingdom Come: Deliverance screenshot of a rider going next to a field

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a medieval open-world RPG that aims to be as realistic and faithful to the era as possible. In order to achieve this rather lofty goal you obviously need colorful and realistic environments, and if the most recent trailer is any indication the developers are definitely on the right path!

The video itself is not very long, and it mostly serves as a teaser for things to come, but it does offer a pretty damn good idea of what sort of style the developers are going for. To be perfectly honest the visuals appear heavily inspired by The Witcher 3, and I don't mean that in a negative way given that its one of the rare few AAA games that is both gorgeous and colorful at the same time. But enough rambling from me, here's the video:

Crondis from RuneScape's Menaphos: The Golden City expansion

If you've somehow done everything there is to do in RuneScape, a feat that most likely took you the better part of the decade, you'll be glad to hear that a brand new expansion has just released. Menaphos: The Golden City brings with it four new massive story quests, procedurally-generated city quests, a new Slayer Dungeon and an increased level cap of 120 for the Slayer skill, as well as a maze-like Shifting Tombs area to explore for treasures and potential secrets.

All of this is primarily geared towards mid and high-level players, but there are also some benefits for newcomers as well. Once you complete the three-part questline that takes you across the desert sands into the city itself you will be able to enjoy a 5% buff on all skill training, take part in city quests to boost your experience even further, and use Menaphos as a jumping-off point for the rest of RuneScape's world. Most importantly of all, after 12 years of teasing and waiting you'll finally be able to find out what lies behind the close doors of Menaphos!

Heroes of the Storm screenshot of Malthael

After a couple of Overwatch characters it would appear that Heroes of the Storm developers are now once again looking towards the Diablo universe for inspiration. As such, I am very glad to say that the highly popular and much-requested Malthael, the Aspect of Death from Diablo 3's Reaper of Souls expansion, will be the next character joining the Heroes of the Storm roster!

Unsurprisingly he will be a melee assassin that's all about draining the souls of his enemies in order to empower and heal himself. If you're wondering what this might look like in gameplay terms, here's the recently posted character spotlight video:

Centio from Rocket League's 2nd Anniversary Update

While it might seem like it has been around forever, Rocket League will be celebrating its second anniversary on July 7th. In order to get everyone in on the festivities Psyonix will be releasing a rather hefty update filled with a whole bunch of new cosmetics.

To be more specific, the July 7th update will bring with it a brand new arena by the name of Champions Field, new customization options for goal explosions, new trails and engine sounds, new trophies and achievements, and the introduction of Rocket League Radio featuring Monstercat and 18 new songs. The 2nd Anniversary Update will also bring with it the start of Competitive Season 5, two new import cars, Season 4 completion awards, and the list goes on. The update might not offer much in terms of gameplay, but if car customization is your thing then you're going to have plenty of new toys to play with!

Official artwork for Fallout: New Vegas

If you hate the very concept of DRM but love open-world RPGs you're in luck as GOG has just updated its store with some Bethesda classics. As you can probably deduce from the title alone, the three newly added games are Fallout 3: Game of the Year EditionFallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition.

Besides being fully DRM-free the games are currently on a 50% discount which brings their price to €9,50 each. Since each and every single one of them offers hundreds of hours of entertainment I would definitely recommend you grab whichever game interests you the most because this really is an awesome deal, DRM or not!

Shadowverse is currently celebrating its first birthday with a whole bunch of free goodies. From now until June 14th all daily missions will award double gold, which means you can easily get 3+ card packs each day. And if that wasn't generous enough, the developers will also be giving away 40 card packs spread across all four card sets from June 13th to June 27th! In other words, if you decide to start Shadowverse in the next few weeks chances are you're going to have enough cards to create whatever sort of deck you might enjoy.

In order to add further fuel onto the fire Shadowverse devs have now also announced a brand new expansion: Wonderland Dreams. The details are still incredibly light, but what I can tell you is that Shadowverse's 5th card set will feature 104 new cards to mess around with, many of which will be powerful Neutral options in order to enhance the deck building process for all classes.

Vanquish screenshot of two characters coliding

The PC version of Vanquish launched without many issues, but since it was never designed with uncapped FPS in mind it exhibited some very strange behavior at high FPS. Most notably, players on powerful PCs found themselves taking much more damage than was expected, while also suffering from drastically reduced health regeneration.

In order to combat these problems the developers released a beta patch a couple of days ago, though due to it being a public holiday they weren't able to test it thoroughly. Now, a few days later, the fully tested update has finally arrived, and it would appear that most of the problems have been corrected! The patch notes are fairly small, so here they are in their entirety:

Kuma artwork for Tekken 7

After months of teasers, previews, and character introductions Tekken 7 has now finally arrived for both PC and consoles. But perhaps most importantly of all, it has arrived alongside some very favorable reviews and zero stories about the PC port being a flaming wreck. Now that is a rarity with AAA games these days!

If you're wondering what exactly Tekken 7 brings to the table, wonder no more as the developers have recently posted a video detailing all of its features and game modes. The video is about 4 minutes long, but it should give you a pretty damn good idea of what you're getting into. Have a look:

Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin artwork and logo

The Humble Monthly Bundle is a $12 subscription service that instantly gives you access to one game, and then a whole bunch more when the next month rolls over. Last month the featured game was Stellaris, and this time around its Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin which includes all of the DLC.

Most people consider Dark Souls 2 to be the weakest part of the Dark Souls trilogy, and to be perfectly honest I agree with them. That said, the weakest part of the Dark Souls trilogy is still one of the best games I have ever played, so if you have even an inkling of interest in action-RPGs I would fully recommend you give Dark Souls 2 a try. There is literally hundreds of hours of content to be found in here, so for $12 you really can't go wrong!

ELEX official artwork and logo

ELEX is an upcoming post-apocalyptic open-world RPG from the creators of the Risen and Gothic series. As with all of their previous games ELEX is going to allow you to choose what sort of playstyle you'll mess around with, what allies you will keep and which enemies you will make, and most importantly, how you will solve each and every situation. An ambitious goal, but Piranha Byte has quite a lot of experience with this concept, so ELEX has a pretty good chance of being at least intriguing.

Whatever the case may be we won't have to wait for very long in order to find out as the release date for ELEX has been just been announced. You can expect to see it on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 17, 2017. Besides this announcement the developers have also released a CGI trailer showcasing what the player will see throughout his journey on Magalan. Have a look:
