All you have to do is head on over to the Epic Games Store pages for Amnesia and Crashlands, claim yourself a copy of each game, and you'll be good to go.
You might want to hurry, however, as time isn't exactly working in your favor. More specifically, the two games will only be free for another day, so make sure to grab them before they get replaced by the next batch.

[Update #2]: Desperados 3 has now arrived, and so far the reception is immensely positive!
[Update]: Desperados 3 now has a free demo available, and it's quite a lengthy one!
Despite knowing very little about Shadow Tactics going in, it quickly became one of my favorite games of the year. As it turns out, Shadow Tactics is not only a worthy successor to the commandos series, but also a damn good real-time strategy game in its own right!
As such, I'm delighted to say that Mimimi Games, the studio behind Shadow Tactics, will soon be releasing yet another character-based strategy game - Desperados 3. And when I say soon, I really mean that as Desperados 3 will be coming to PC and consoles this June 16.

[Update]: The day has finally come - Terraria's biggest and most ambitious expansion is going live today!
For such a cheap game with absolutely no microtransactions, it's genuinely impressive to see just how many massive updates Terraria has received over the years. Alas, all good things most come to an end, and so Terraria's crowning update Journey's End will be launching onto PC this May 16th.
However, Terraria will not be going out with a whimper, as the Journey's End expansion is absolutely massive in scope! It'll bring with it 800 new items to find or craft, a ton of new enemies and bosses to overcome, an overhauled world generation system, an all-new difficulty mode, new and enhanced weather effects, and the list goes on for a very long time. More importantly, Journey's End will also add the most impactful and gameplay-relevant feature of them all - the ability to play golf!

[Update]: Risk of Rain 2 has now left Early Access alongside the massive new Update 1.0!
It seems that Risk of Rain 2 is taking its Early Access stay quite seriously given the amount of content the developers have been adding. A few months ago they introduced a new survivor, bosses, as well as stage variants, while the more recent major update looks to be just as impactful.
The aptly named Artifacts update brings with it sixteen powerful artifacts that will dramatically change the way you play by essentially having you customize your own difficulty. For example, my favorite Artifact of Glass makes it so you deal 500% damage, but only have 10% of the usual health pool. It makes the gameplay mercilessly difficult as a slight breeze can topple you over, but the absurd amount of power you get in return is absolutely delightful to play around with!

The original Receiver was more of a proof of concept than an actual game, something that becomes especially obvious once you realize it was created in a mere seven days. However, despite its shortcomings, Receiver managed to fairly realistically simulate the whole process of operating a handgun.
The only thing it really lacked in was fresh content, which is exactly where Receiver 2 comes in to set things right. Unsurprisingly, Receiver 2 is pretty much more of the same, just with an even more complex and realistic simulation of handgun handling, as well as some more fleshed out levels and mechanics to toy around with.

[Update]: Decades after its predecessor, Streets of Rage 4 has now finally made its way to PC and consoles!
If you're in the mood for some good ol' fashioned beat 'em up action, you'll be glad to hear that Streets of Rage 4 is nearly upon us. It'll be coming to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch this April 30th.
Expect to see twelves stages riddled with enemies, all hand-drawn and animated by the studio behind Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. There will also be multiplayer for up to four players, classic gameplay spiced up with new moves and mechanics, as well as an always surprising amount of roast chicken.

The first-person, dungeon-crawling RPG Operencia: The Stolen Sun has been available for a little while now on Xbox One, the Windows Store and the Epic Games Store. If you're not a fan of any of those platforms, however, you'll be glad to hear that the exclusivity period is now over and that Operencia has also made its way to Steam, GOG, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
You can get a pretty good idea of what to expect, as well as just what breed of RPGs Operencia took most of its inspiration from, through the recently posted launch trailer. Have a gander, it's a fairly short one:

[Update]: Receiver 2 has now arrived, and unsurprisingly, it's a more polished and content-rich version of the original.
The original Receiver was a simple but rather intriguing little game. Rather than focus on all-out action and bombastic setpieces, Receiver tried to realistically simulate most aspects of handling a handgun, and for a game created in a mere seven days, it did a pretty good job of it!
However, while that may be impressive, it's also Receiver's biggest downfall. Basically, the moment you start to develop an understanding for your weapon, you're pretty much done as there just isn't enough new content to keep you engaged. This is where Receiver 2 comes into play.
