It might seem like a silly idea to make an entire franchise of Truck Simulator games but you have to hand it to SCS Software, they are dedicated to their trucking craft.
In an upcoming update for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 & American Truck Simulator Steam Workshop support is going to be enabled bringing with it much easier browsing, downloading and management of mods.

I've only played the first of the Deponia trilogy, but what I experienced was a well written, charming and completely hilarious adventure with some challenging puzzles sprinkled on top.
If you have an inkling of interest for point & clicks now would be the best time to give Deponia a try as Daedalic has announced the fourth entry in to the series, titled Deponia Doomsday. Here's the trailer and a short description of what Doomsday is all about:
Punch Club Is Getting A Free Expansion In March Titled "The Dark Fist"

Punch Club is a boxing tychoon/management RPG that came to prominence after the developers promised to release it early if, and only if, Twitch collectively managed to beat the it. As you might expect the entire game was ravaged within two days and the developers promptly released Punch Club on Steam in accordance to their promise.
Since then Punch Club has underwent many free patches and updates but the recently announced expansion is set to be the biggest one of them all. Here's what exactly will be coming with The Dark Fist:
Action Orientated Co-op Roguelike "Necropolis" Has Been Delayed Till Summer

As a big fan of roguelikes, action RPGs and Souls inspired combat I've been keeping tabs on Necropolis and looking forward to its March release date with glee.
But unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, Necropolis has been delayed until the summer in order to polish it up and prepare it for a simultaneous console release. Here's the most interesting part of the announcement message Harebrained Schemes posted earlier today:
We Are The Dwarves - Review & Critique

- in Reviews
We are the Dwarves is a stylish but brutally difficult real-time tactical adventure where you take control of a trio of Dwarven astronauts on a mission that has gone terribly wrong, leaving them stranded in the stony void between the stars.
It features some well designed levels filled with devious traps, cunning enemies and encounters you will only be able to handle through the proper use of strategy, your Dwarven abilities and whole lot of violence. While all of that is incredibly fun the roller-coaster of a difficulty curve made my experience with We are the Dwarves a lot more frustrating than it needed to be.
The Whacky And Slightly Insane RPG Classic Disgaea Is Now Available On Steam
- By Ash
- in News
The good news is that the Disgaea: Digital Deluxe Dood Edition is now available on Steam along with an upgraded UI, improved graphics, full keyboard/mouse and controller support as well as all of the content the special edition came with.
The bad news is that according to some user reviews and Steam comments Disgaea is currently "completely broken" for some configurations due to horrific FPS drops. Here's the trailer and a bit more information about the whole problem:
Trine Developer's Upcoming Stealth Game Shadwen Now Has A Demo Available
- By Ash
- in Indie Games
The folks over at Frozenbyte are some of my favorite indie developers, consistently delivering on visually beautiful and interesting games. They might not always pan out, as is the case with Trine 3, but you can always be assured that they tried their very best.
Which is why I'm incredibly happy that they are so confident in their upcoming stealth game Shadwen that they're not only willing to release a demo of it but are making it a community event. The trick is that each playthrough of the demo helps reduce the final price of Shadwen, which in other words means the developers get some lovely exposure and we as the players get a discount, a win-win in my eyes.
Here's the trailer and information on how this whole event works:
