The Division is Ubisoft's latest foray in to the open world genre and from everything I've seen in the open beta it has managed to avoid many of the pitfalls that befell the Assassin's Creed and Far Cry series.

With the launch a mere 7 days away Ubisoft has decided to release the official gameplay trailer (spoiler: contains very little actual gameplay) that comes with some pretty visuals and nice voice acting. Have a look:

After playing the beta for around 6-7 hours I can tell you for certain that The Division is a well polished and fun experience though I'm not sure whether its going to be a long-lasting one, despite the multiplayer portion of The Division being so lauded. As always, I'd recommend not preordering and instead checking out reviews a couple of days after launch to see if any major longevity issues pop up before you bring out the credit card.
