Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition PC recommended specs have been released

Gear of War: Ultimate Edition has been slated to arrive on the PC early in 2016 and as you might have noticed we are well within that period, so its a bit curious that the only information we're getting about it comes from leaks.

Due to a mistake that was swiftly corrected Gears of War: UE appeared on the Microsoft store and while the price and release date were placeholders the system requirements were not. You will find them below.

The minimum system requirements are:

- OS: 64 bit Windows 10 – version 1511

- Processor: Intel Core i5 @ 2.7Ghz or AMD FX 6-core

- Memory: 8 GB RAM (2 GB VRAM)

- Graphics: Geforce GTX 650 Ti or Radeon R7 260x

- Hard Drive: 60 GB available space

- DirectX 12

If you want to run the Ultimate Edition at 1920x1080 its recommended you go with:

- OS: 64 bit Windows 10 - version 1511

- Processor: Intel Core i5 @3.5GHz+ or AMD FX 8-core

- Memory: 16 GB RAM (4 GB VRAM)

- Graphics: GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon R9 290X

- Hard Drive: 60 GB available space

- DirectX 12

And if you want to be fancy and run it at 4k you will need:

- OS: 64 bit Windows 10 - version 1511

- Processor: Intel Core i7 @ 4Ghz or AMD FX 8-core

- Memory: 16 GB RAM (6+ GB VRAM)

- Graphics: Geforce GTX 980 Ti or Radeon R9 390X

- Hard Drive: SSD + 60 GB available space

- DirectX 12

The only real standout here is the fact that the recommended system configuration asks for 16 GB of RAM which I do hope means they put in extra bells and whistles in to the PC port, rather than it potentially having memory leaks and this being an easy way of avoiding the issue.

If you're interested in the release date or more specific information about the Ultimate Edition you'll need to wait a short while for Microsoft's big Windows & Xbox conference to begin on the 25th, I'm sure more will be revealed at that point.
