If you're a fan of retro gaming you'll be happy to hear that a brand new batch of "Sierra Classics" has been released onto the Steam store. Some of them, such as Arcanum - Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura, you might recognize due to their status as a cult classic these days, but there's also some lesser-known games such as Phantasmagoria and Police Quest.
Most of these games have been available for a while on GOG and other marketplaces, but if you feel the need to have all of your games united under Steam's banner, now you have a chance to do so with some of Sierra's old school stuff as well. Here's the full list:
The Witcher 3 - Game of the Year Edition is releasing today alongside a bugfixing patch

- in News
Much like all of CDPR's previous games, The Witcher 3 has drastically changed since it first launched. Many of the bugs that once used to plague it are now gone, the inventory system has received a complete overhaul, plenty of new free content has been added in, and most importantly, two massive expansions have increased the size of the world by a rather considerable margin.
Due to all of the changes and updates The Witcher 3 has received so far, installing it fresh from a disk has become a rather big annoyance as you also have to download nearly endless amounts of patches and extra content as well. With this in mind, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that CDPR has decided to release The Witcher 3 - Game of the Year Edition which comes with all of the expansions, free content, and patches.
What might surprise you, however, is that The Witcher 3 - GOTY is releasing at some point today! If you have no idea what The Witcher 3 is all about, or if you just want to have your memory refreshed, here's the recently posted GOTY trailer:
Fallout 4's final DLC "Nuka-World" is now available

After a whole bunch of DLC, some good, some not so much, Fallout 4 has reached the end of the line with Nuka-World, the sixth and final expansion. Throughout Nuka-World you'll be able to explore an all-new region of the Commonwealth, befriend and lead crazed gangs of Raiders in order to conquer the wasteland, and naturally, collect a whole bunch of weapons and equipment along the way.
If that sort of a description is simply too sane for you, would you instead prefer to learn more about Nuka-World from a sentient Nuka-Cola bottle and his friend Cappy? If the answer is yes, and honestly it should always be yes, here's the relatively recent trailer:
World of Warcraft's Legion expansion is off to a rather flawless start

When it comes to MMO launches, or even most online games in general, the first few days are usually a complete disaster. As endless hordes of players swarm each of the available servers the in-game lag tends to slowly become unbearable, and worst of all, plenty of well-hidden bugs suddenly start surfacing in order to make the whole experience even more nightmarish.
Much to my surprise, however, none of these issues have befallen World of Warcraft's long-awaited Legion expansion. Not only was there no lag even mere minutes after the official release, the gameplay itself was almost completely bug free! In the three or so hours I've spent with Legion so far I've only encountered a single, minor bug - a broken texture that allowed me to see through the roof of a rather funky Night Elf house. Unlike Illidan, it would appear that Blizzard was prepared!
You Should Try: The Witcher 3 - The gold standard for all open world RPGs

"You Should Try" is a series of articles where I'll showcase you a game I really enjoy while explaining what exactly makes it fun. This can be any game, new or old, indie or AAA, the only requirement is that it has to be something I've found myself greatly enjoying and in need of sharing with the world.
Today I think you should try The Witcher 3 - the gold standard when it comes to open world RPGs. The game-world is absolutely massive and the majority of the locations are well worth visiting; the graphics are some of the best you will encounter in any game today; the characters are well written and quite complex; and most importantly, none of the side-quests are designed to waste your time by making you collect a dozen bear asses. That doesn't mean you are going to save any time, however, as The Witcher 3 has already robbed me of well over a hundred hours, and because I hate seeing other people have free time I would like for you to discover how fun it is as well.
Bethesda has released an hour-long developer preview for Fallout 4's final DLC "Nuka-World"

With Fallout 4's final DLC "Nuka-World" just around the corner, Bethesda has decided to give everyone a glimpse at the sort of gameplay only an expansion situated in a post-apocalyptic amusement park can provide.
To be more specific, the hour-long developer preview covers the introduction, some of the weapons you'll get to toy around with, and a couple of other aspects of Nuka-World's early-game. If you're someone like me and you hate spoilers with a passion, worry not as the two hosts go out of their way to avoid some of the more sensitive bits, though you're still watching a preview so... be warned, I guess. Valley, an exploration/adventure game starring a high-powered exosuit, has landed on Steam

- in Indie Games
The most common complaints people tend to have with the exploration/adventure genre are centered around the movement, or usually the lack of there of, hence the whole "walking simulator" thing. Well, what if I told you that Valley avoids all of these complaints by putting you into a high-powered exosuit that's capable of jumping insanely high, gripping onto walls, and for reasons unknown, also controlling the very essence of life and death.
Since trying to even comprehend what I just said is a nearly impossible task, allow me to instead show you the recently posted launch trailer. It starts off fairly slow, so if you just want to get into the "real" gameplay, skip to around the half way point. Here's the video:
