[Update]: Six years after its launch, the boss-battling action game Furi is getting a brand new character!

Furi is an extremely challenging action game where you don't fight against hordes of monsters, but rather duel against a wide assortment of bosses. Its all about learning your enemy's patterns, dodging their attacks, seeking out openings, and then striking the moment an opportunity presents itself.

While the bosses that originally launched with Furi are pretty damn though, the newly released "One More Fight" DLC offers perhaps the hardest challenge yet. If you're up for a bit of a preview of what exactly The Flame can do, look no further than the video below:

Total War: Warhammer devs have released a video showcasing all of the free content released so far

Total War: Warhammer Archaeon the Everchosen

Total War: Warhammer has a lot of paid DLC, there is no denying that fact, but many people tend to overlook the amount of free content added with each update. Since launch Creative Assembly has added a ton of new maps, a brand new map editor with Steam Workshop support, two new factions to play against on the world map, a bunch of Legendary Lords and units, as well as a whole host of new magic to mess around.

While the volume of all of the content should speak for itself, apparently Creative Assembly is still getting enough hate-mail to warrant creating a "Free Content Montage" video. So if you're interested in a bit of... unique video that covers all of the new additions to Total War: Warhammer you'll find it right below. Have a look:

Grinding Gear Games have recently announced that their launch of Path of Exile Update 2.6.0 has been met with a 40-percent increase in the number of players online. What might come as the biggest surprise is that this isn't a massive update by any stretch, just the beginning of a new season and a whole bunch of balance changes.

In terms of numbers the launch of the Legacy Challenge League has achieved a peak online player count of 112,800, with 65,000 of those players coming from Steam alone. But perhaps most impressively, when you count this recent update Path of Exile has more than doubled its playerbase within the span of nine months!

The Surge is an upcoming sci-fi action RPG set in a dystopian, near future version of Earth. It is being developed by Deck 13, a studio you might recognize from their work on the Souls-like Lords of the Fallen, and much like their previous game The Surge is going to be heavily focused around tactical melee combat.

If this sounds like something you might enjoy you'll be glad to hear that The Surge will be coming this May 16th for PC and consoles. Along with the launch date announcement the developers have also released a robot-smashing cinematic trailer to showcase what The Surge is really all about. So if you're interested in watching the world's most unenthusiastic man beat up increasingly larger mechs you'll find the video right below:

Wartile is a newly released real-time strategy game where miniature figurines come to life

In the most basic terms Wartile is an intriguing hybrid between a board game and a real-time strategy, with some card game elements mixed in for good measure. What this means in gameplay terms is that you need to carefully position your figurines, abuse their strengths and cover their weaknesses, help them out with powerful action cards, and then watch a whole bunch of tiny little men beat the ever-living daylight out of each other.

Since the concept itself is a bit strange, allow me to show you the recently posted launch trailer. It should give you a pretty damn good idea of Wartile is all about, and perhaps even more importantly, how cool it actually looks. Have a gander:

Total War: Warhammer's Archeon the Everchosen

While its not $12 like in the recent Humble Monthly bundle, Total War: Warhammer is currently on a 50% discount on Steam. Additionally, every single piece of DLC besides the Realm of the Wood Elves is on a 25% discount.

The sale will only last until March 20th, so if you're planning to grab Total War: Warhammer or any of its DLC make sure to do it as soon as possible, lest you forget. As for whether any of it is worth your time and money, that I cannot answer for you, but I can give you my opinion in the shape of review I did a little while back. If you're just interested in the short version, however, here it is:

Star Citizen level design - early phase

If you enjoy peeking behind the curtain in order to see how games are made, today is your lucky day. As a part of their "Around the Verse" series Star Citizen devs have released a detailed video going over how exactly they design levels.

The video is fairly lengthy, totaling at around 31 minutes, but it is definitely worth a watch if you're interested in the more technical aspects of video game development. But enough yapping from me, here's the video itself:
