The atmospheric horror-FPS Metro Exodus will be coming to PC and consoles in 2018

After the success of not only the Metro series, but the Metro Redux collection as well, I am very glad to say that the atmospheric horror-FPS will be getting a sequel. As you might expect from the name alone, in Metro Exodus we will be escaping the shattered ruins of Moscow in order to embark on a continent-spanning journey.
Besides the obvious inclusion of a new storyline, Metro Exodus will also bring with it greatly improved gameplay, as you'll see in one of the recent videos down below. I would heartily recommend you give it a look as some of the scenery is quite spectacular! Here's the video:
The futuristic city-building sim Aven Colony has now arrived to PC and consoles
- By Ash

Aven Colony is a newly released city-building sim set on an alien planet full of hostile terrain and equally hostile locals. In order to survive you will need to create a fully self-sustaining colony that will not only be able to defend itself against everything the planet throws at it, but also exploit those very same things in order to further advance your new civilization.
You can get a brief glimpse at what all of this looks like in-game through the recently posted launch trailer down below. Its not very long, but it should get the message across quite nicely. Have a look:
The 4X strategy game Starpoint Gemini Warlords has a new trailer showing off the upcoming Titan ships

Starpoint Gemini Warlords is a bit of a strange mix between a space sim, a 4X strategy game, and an RPG. It released back in May to some rather positive reviews, and after a variety of updates it is now preparing for the release of the upcoming Titans Return DLC.
As you might deduce from the name alone, the Titans Return DLC will bring with it three gigantic new ships to mess around with, the ability to fully customize and use them within the campaign or free-roam scenarios, and naturally, an entirely new storyline to explore. If you'd like a quick peek at what some of these Titans might look like in game, here's the recently posted teaser trailer:
Green Man Gaming is currently holding a massive Summer Sale with some rather decent discounts

If you've somehow managed to miss the Steam Summer Sale and are currently itching for a way to fill out your backlog, you're in luck as Green Man Gaming has recently launched their own variant of the Summer Sale. The whole event will run until August 4th, so you still have plenty of time to jump in and see what's happening.
That said, you might want to check in every once in a while as Green Man Gaming is rotating six "flash deals" every 12 hours. In other words, if you manage to catch your favorite game as a part of a "flash deal" you can not only get it significantly cheaper, but you can also get a free mystery game by using the SUMMER2017 promo code. Its slightly annoying having to visit the website so frequently, but the benefits definitely outweigh the cons if you're looking to get by as cheaply as possible.
Graveyard Keeper is a seemingly Harvest Moon inspired "cemetery management sim"

Out of all the strange games and concepts I've covered throughout the past few months Graveyard Keeper might just be the most 'out there' of them all. It is a seemingly Harvest Moon inspired cemetery management sim, but what might come as a massive shock given the theme is that it actually appears to be pretty damn charming!
Since this is one of those concepts you need to see in order to believe, allow me to share you the relatively recent announcement trailer. It might not be overly long, but it gets the message across quite nicely. Have a look:
Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite's roster has been expanded with Haggar, Frank West, and Nemesis
- By Ash
- in News
After a brief teaser at the recent Comic Con panel Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite devs have now officially confirmed that Final Fight's Haggar, Dead Rising's Frank West, and Resident Evil's Nemesis will be joining the rather bizarre and diverse roster. Nemesis and Haggar I can understand, they are both mountains made out of flesh, but I'm not exactly sure about Frank West and his chances.
The recently posted gameplay trailer seems to share my concerns as poor ol' Frank spends most of the video getting beaten up, all the while releasing some of the most hilarious grunts I've heard in a while. You'll find the video right below, and I'd heartily recommend you check it out, if only to watch Frank get repeatedly thrown across the room:
The rather surreal adventure game The Mystery of Woolley Mountain will be coming next year
- By Ash
- in Indie Games
The Mystery of Woolley Mountain is a surreal and rather bizarre adventure game about a group of five renegade time-traveling audio scientists that are trying to destroy an evil witch. Makes perfect sense to me! I mean, what in the world could you even add to that?
If you're wondering what all of this madness might look like in gameplay terms, you'll find the recently posted trailer right below. Its not overly long, but it'll give you a pretty damn good idea of just how strange the world of The Mystery of Woolley Mountain truly is. Have a look, it's well worth the time:
