Noita is a procedurally generated roguelike where every single pixel is physically simulated. That might not sound like a big deal, but it basically means you can unleash absolute destruction upon both the world and your enemies. You can spawn hazards, create brand new pathways through the magical power of explosions, burn your enemies to a crisp, and other such lovely wizardly nonsense.
With that in mind, I'm happy to say that Noita has now added even more new toys to play around with! The snowy update has brought with it fifteen new spells to lob at your opponents (and accidentally at your own face), new magical items to help you contend with the hordes of monsters that lurk below, as well as new enemies to face off against.
There's also five new weather-based phenomena to discover, a bit of a festive flair for the holiday season, and most importantly of all, a New Game Plus mode! You can get a pretty good idea of what all of this looks like in-game, as well as what Noita as a whole is all about, through the recently posted trailer. Have a gander:
If you're interested in the specifics, however, you can find the full patch notes over at Steam. And if you're going there, it's also worth mentioning that Noita is on a 20% discount as a part of the Steam Winter Sale, but just keep in mind that it's currently in Early Access and thus unfinished. Have fun!
