Mafia 3: Sign of the Times DLC artwork and logo

Mafia 3 has just recently been updated with its third and final piece of DLC - Sign of the Times. The DLC story is focused on a deranged and rather violent group of cultists called The Ensanglante, whose only goal seems to be to restore purity and order to New Bordeaux through a series of extremely gruesome rituals. As you might expect you will need to figure out how exactly the cult operates, why they have such a fanatical following, and most importantly, how you can stop them.

If you're interested in seeing what all of this might look like in-game, you should check out the newly posted launch trailer down below. Its not very long, but it does a good job of setting up the atmosphere:

I haven't played it myself, so take the following with a few grains of salt, but according to all of the reviews I've read so far Sign of the Times appears to be the best Mafia 3 DLC by far. The story is slightly longer than the what the other DLCs had to offer, and the missions are significantly more interesting to follow, so it functions a lot better as a narrative-driven experience. However, unlike the previous DLC there is no new area to explore here, so if you're a fan of Mafia 3's open-world gameplay this DLC might end up being a just a little bit disappointing.

If you would like to learn more, or just grab yourself a copy, I would recommend heading over to Steam. And finally, here's a couple of bizarre images to better set the mood:
