For Honor's recent update has added the much-requested and highly comprehensive training mode. It features a variety of challenges and tutorials designed to help beginners ease themselves into the combat system, as well as plethora of advanced guides that will teach players how to perform and counter every single move For Honor has in its arsenal. A small feature in the grand scheme of things, but a pretty darn good one regardless.

So if you ever found yourself intimidated by For Honor's learning curve, of if you're not even sure whether it's the type of game you'd even enjoy, you might be interested to hear that For Honor will be having a free weekend this... well, weekend! To be more specific, For Honor will be completely free to play from May 3rd to May 6th on both PC and consoles.

While I'm not the biggest fan of fighting games, and this includes For Honor, I would still recommend you give it a look. There have been quite a few improvements since the initial and somewhat shabby launch, including things like dedicated servers, and as such the For Honor of today is a much different and much better game than the one you might have seen on release. If you're like me and you're not a fan of the gameplay itself, chances are this trial period won't exactly change your mind, but given that it's free I suppose it's worth a try regardless.

You can learn a little bit more about For Honor by visiting the official website. And finally, I'll leave you with the most recent trailer highlighting the training mode. Enjoy!
