Far Cry 5's bug-squashing Lost on Mars DLC has now arrived for both PC and consoles

While the premise behind Far Cry 5's Season Pass was delightfully cheesy, the three DLCs have unfortunately not managed to live up the legacy Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has left behind. And yes, I intentionally said "three DLCs" as Lost on Mars, the third and final piece of the Season Pass, has now arrived for both PC and consoles alongside a barrage of mediocre reviews.

Before I say anything else, allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer. It'll give you a pretty decent idea of what Lost on Mars is all about, as well as what sort of alien bugs you'll be able to explode. Have a look:

Hollow Knight's final chapter will be coming as a massive free update this August 23rd

Despite it releasing over a year ago, Team Cherry has continued to support Hollow Knight with new and interesting content, all of which came as entirely free updates! All of their hard work will culminate on August 23rd as Hollow Knight will be receiving its final and largest chapter - Gods & Glory.

The full list of changes has not been revealed just yet, but you can expect to see new and difficult bosses to contend with, new NPCs to chat around with, new secrets to uncover, new music to jam out to, and perhaps most interestingly of all, a whole new game mode to explore! You can get a little bit of a sneak peek by checking out the recently posted trailer. Have a look:

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth's pre-patch has now arrived, though not without server issues

World of Warcraft's Battle For Azeroth pre-patch has now arrived to the American servers, while the rest of the world will be getting the update at some point tomorrow. Besides bridging the gap between Legion and Battle for Azeroth, the update will also be introducing a massive stat-squish to curb the overly inflated damage and health numbers, a new storyline that will culminate with the attacks on Teldrassil and the Undercity, the removal of Artifact Power and weapon traits, and the list goes on for a while.

If you're interested in all of the changes and additions, you'll find the full patch notes over at the official website. They are unfortunately a bit vague when it comes to specific balance changes, but given that pretty much every number has been adjusted I can't exactly fault Blizzard for deciding to not even attempt to cover all of it.

Monster Hunter: World's full PC system requirements have now been revealed

[Update]: Monster Hunter: World has now arrived on PC, and so far it seems pretty darn good!

After a rather lengthy wait, Monster Hunter: World will finally be coming to PC this August 9th. While all of the technical improvements and PC-exclusive features have not been announced just yet, you might be interested to hear that the minimum and recommended PC system requirements have now been posted.

You'll find the full list down below, and thankfully it appears to be fairly standard for a AAA game these days. The one thing I have to specifically highlight is that unlike Shenmue 3 and Soulcalibur VI, Monster Hunter: World will only require 20 GB of hard drive space, which should be easy enough to fit on any SSD. That little diversion aside, here are the system requirements:

Far Cry 5's alien-blasting Lost on Mars DLC will be coming this July 17th

Far Cry 5: Lost on Mars DLC screenshot of our character and a dead alien

After a fairly disappointing romp through Vietnam, Far Cry 5's second post-launch adventure Lost on Mars is coming this July 17th to hopefully redeem the entire Season Pass. As you might expect from the name alone, you'll have to thwart an alien invasion by shooting, melting, exploding or simply slicing through all sorts of Martian bugs!

While there is no gameplay preview available just yet, the recently posted teaser trailer should give you a pretty good idea of just how cheesy the Lost on Mars DLC is going to be. Have a gander:

Total War: Warhammer 2 devs have explained why the updates and DLC are arriving much slower than in the original

Total War: Warhammer 2 Rise of the Tomb Kings official artwork

Despite Total War: Warhammer 2 being well received and having a massive fanbase, the pace of new DLC releases has been significantly slower than in original Total War: Warhammer. The two DLC packs unleashed so far, Rise of the Tomb Kings and The Queen and the Crone, are both of a higher quality than the first few DLCs from the original, but even so this situation has left a lot of people wondering whether Creative Assembly has overstretched themselves by trying to work on four games at once.

These questions have become so commonplace over the past few weeks that Creative Assembly has now come out to officially explain why the DLCs are arriving so slowly, as well what their priorities are. Unsurprisingly, their answer is that the focus is on ensuring that quality remains high, while simultaneously avoiding the DLC fatigue that occurred early in Total War: Warhammer's life.

July's Humble Monthly bundle has arrived with A Hat in Time, Conan Exiles and The Escapists 2 in tow

The Humble Monthly, as you're probably well aware at this point, is a $12 subscription service that instantly gives you access to a couple of games, and then a whole bunch more once the next month rolls over. The quality of these games tends to be a bit hit and miss, but thankfully the July bundle contains some pretty good ones: A Hat in Time, The Escapists 2 and Conan Exiles.

While all three games are a little bit niche, I do believe they are still enjoyable enough to make this bundle worth grabbing. I've paid more for A Hat in Time alone and I've had a great deal of fun with it, so if you're also a fan of survival or strategy/simulation games I'd say that for $12 this bundle is quite a steal.
