If you ever wanted to give the modern Hitman a try, now would be a very good time to do so! Not only can you currently check out the entirety of the Marrakesh episode, but if you simply install it before July 31st you will be able to play it even after the trial period goes away in August.
In terms of content, you'll be able to access the entire campaign mission, all of the Escalation Contracts, 20 levels of location mastery (will be relevant should you ever decide to purchase the full game), and naturally, all 120+ challenges. There really is a lot of stuff to do, so if you're even remotely interested in stealth games I would highly recommend you take IOI up on their offer and check out the busy markets of Marrakesh.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is set to arrive this August 31st, bringing with it a whole bunch of new content and improvements. There's going to be a better tutorial, a new difficulty setting, a whole bunch of new dialogue and voice acting, an improved journal to help you keep track of quests, changes to the Act 3 storyline, and yes, a new mini-companion in the shape of Sir Lora - a squirrel knight riding a skeletal cat!
If you think I'm making some sort of joke with that last part, think again as the developers have now released a brief trailer highlighting the surprisingly posh Sir Lora! Have a look, it's well worth a minute:
Cyanide's Call of Cthulhu RPG will be coming to PC and consoles this October 30th

- in News
Call of Cthulhu is Cyanide Studio's upcoming video game adaptation of the classic pen & paper RPG called (you guessed it) Call of Cthulhu. As is tradition with games inspired by Lovecraft's work, you can expect to see plenty of atmospheric locations, ancient mysteries to uncover, bizarre townspeople to avoid, and naturally, a hearty helping of otherworldy horrors and the madness that accompanies them.
For those of you wondering how all of this translates into gameplay, allow me to share with you the recently posted E3 trailer. It's not very long, but it'll at least give you a bit of an idea of what Call of Cthulhu is going to be about. Have a gander:
Overwatch's adorable hamster Wrecking Ball will be fully released on July 24th
- By Ash
- in News
While this would've sounded like the ravings of a madman a few weeks ago, Overwatch's next hero is going to be Wrecking Ball - a highly intelligent hamster piloting a ball-shaped mech that posses incredible mobility and firepower. A silly concept to be sure, but the actual gameplay behind Wrecking Ball is ridiculously entertaining, which is why I'm glad to say that he will be coming to the live version of Overwatch on July 24th!
As with all new heroes, Wrecking Ball will not be immediately available in Competitive Play, for obvious reasons. Instead, you will have around two weeks in order to practice your combos, discover all of the various grapple spots, and basically just learn how not to launch yourself straight into the Illios well. Given his skill ceiling I doubt two weeks will be enough, but it should at least ensure everyone has a basic understanding of what the hero does, and that is definitely a good thing for Competitive Play as a whole.
Far Cry 5's bug-squashing Lost on Mars DLC has now arrived for both PC and consoles

While the premise behind Far Cry 5's Season Pass was delightfully cheesy, the three DLCs have unfortunately not managed to live up the legacy Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has left behind. And yes, I intentionally said "three DLCs" as Lost on Mars, the third and final piece of the Season Pass, has now arrived for both PC and consoles alongside a barrage of mediocre reviews.
Before I say anything else, allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer. It'll give you a pretty decent idea of what Lost on Mars is all about, as well as what sort of alien bugs you'll be able to explode. Have a look:
Hollow Knight's final chapter will be coming as a massive free update this August 23rd

Despite it releasing over a year ago, Team Cherry has continued to support Hollow Knight with new and interesting content, all of which came as entirely free updates! All of their hard work will culminate on August 23rd as Hollow Knight will be receiving its final and largest chapter - Gods & Glory.
The full list of changes has not been revealed just yet, but you can expect to see new and difficult bosses to contend with, new NPCs to chat around with, new secrets to uncover, new music to jam out to, and perhaps most interestingly of all, a whole new game mode to explore! You can get a little bit of a sneak peek by checking out the recently posted trailer. Have a look:
World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth's pre-patch has now arrived, though not without server issues
- By Ash
- in News
World of Warcraft's Battle For Azeroth pre-patch has now arrived to the American servers, while the rest of the world will be getting the update at some point tomorrow. Besides bridging the gap between Legion and Battle for Azeroth, the update will also be introducing a massive stat-squish to curb the overly inflated damage and health numbers, a new storyline that will culminate with the attacks on Teldrassil and the Undercity, the removal of Artifact Power and weapon traits, and the list goes on for a while.
If you're interested in all of the changes and additions, you'll find the full patch notes over at the official website. They are unfortunately a bit vague when it comes to specific balance changes, but given that pretty much every number has been adjusted I can't exactly fault Blizzard for deciding to not even attempt to cover all of it.
