If you've managed to miss the most recent Overwatch free weekend and you're itching for another chance to dive in, you'll be glad to hear that there will be another one running from July 26 to July 30. However, unlike the past few free weekends, this one will only be available for PC!
As far as content is concerned, you'll be able to play with all 28 of the heroes (including the upcoming Wrecking Ball), wonder across all 18 maps, explore all of the various game modes, and naturally, unlock all sorts of cosmetics for your heroes. The only thing that will be locked away from you is the competitive mode, mostly to prevent any sort of griefing that might occur due to the influx of numerous free accounts.

If you ever wanted to give Enter the Gungeon a try, now would be a very good time to do so as it has just recieved a truly massive update: Advanced Gungeons & Draguns. The expansion has brought with it a variety of community-requested features and quality-of-life improvements, hundreds of new rooms to explore, a whole bunch of new enemies and bosses to die against, and perhaps most importantly for veteran players, the ability to get revenge against the dastardly Resourceful Rat!
While the recently posted trailer won't exactly elaborate on any of the above-mentioned features, I think it's just too darn adorable not to share! So if you're up for a bit of animated craziness, you'll find the trailer right below:
Total War: Rome 2 will be getting another expansion this August - Rise of the Republic

- in News
Despite Creative Assembly currently working on three different major Total War projects, they are still somehow finding enough time and resources to also update and expand Total War: Rome 2. And mind you, I'm not talking about minor updates and bug fixes, but rather fully fledged expansions like the newly announced Rise of the Republic which is set to arrive this August 9th!
As you might expect from the name alone, Rise of the Republic will be a campaign pack focused around the events surrounding Rome in the 4th century BC. There will be nine playable factions to toy around with, an all-new campaign map with much more detailed landscapes, an "epic campaign battle for the city of Rome", a variety of new technologies and region-specific decisions to make, and the list goes on for a while.
Overwatch PTR has just been updated with some game-changing tweaks for most Support heroes

With Hanzo getting multiple nerfs in the upcoming Wrecking Ball patch, there is only one major balance issue left to solve: the power disparity between the various Support heroes. As it currently stands, Mercy and Zenyatta are significantly stronger than their competition, an issue that becomes even more exaggerated when you consider just how well the two of them can cover for each other's weaknesses.
Thankfully, this will soon be a problem of the past as Blizzard has announced a variety of changes to the Support class! Mercy will be getting her healing power reduced, Ana's ultimate will now heal her target, Lucio's aura will be larger and his ultimate more powerful, Brigitte's stun cooldown will be going slightly up, and Moira's passive healing resource generation will be increased. Zenyatta will not be changed despite how common he is throughout the Overwatch League, but given how all of his competition is being buffed, I expect his pickrate to go slightly down anyway.
The entirety of Hitman's Marrakesh episode is free to grab until July 31st

If you ever wanted to give the modern Hitman a try, now would be a very good time to do so! Not only can you currently check out the entirety of the Marrakesh episode, but if you simply install it before July 31st you will be able to play it even after the trial period goes away in August.
In terms of content, you'll be able to access the entire campaign mission, all of the Escalation Contracts, 20 levels of location mastery (will be relevant should you ever decide to purchase the full game), and naturally, all 120+ challenges. There really is a lot of stuff to do, so if you're even remotely interested in stealth games I would highly recommend you take IOI up on their offer and check out the busy markets of Marrakesh.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is set to arrive this August 31st, bringing with it a whole bunch of new content and improvements. There's going to be a better tutorial, a new difficulty setting, a whole bunch of new dialogue and voice acting, an improved journal to help you keep track of quests, changes to the Act 3 storyline, and yes, a new mini-companion in the shape of Sir Lora - a squirrel knight riding a skeletal cat!
If you think I'm making some sort of joke with that last part, think again as the developers have now released a brief trailer highlighting the surprisingly posh Sir Lora! Have a look, it's well worth a minute:
Cyanide's Call of Cthulhu RPG will be coming to PC and consoles this October 30th

Call of Cthulhu is Cyanide Studio's upcoming video game adaptation of the classic pen & paper RPG called (you guessed it) Call of Cthulhu. As is tradition with games inspired by Lovecraft's work, you can expect to see plenty of atmospheric locations, ancient mysteries to uncover, bizarre townspeople to avoid, and naturally, a hearty helping of otherworldy horrors and the madness that accompanies them.
For those of you wondering how all of this translates into gameplay, allow me to share with you the recently posted E3 trailer. It's not very long, but it'll at least give you a bit of an idea of what Call of Cthulhu is going to be about. Have a gander:
