For those of you that might not be aware, Vampyr is an upcoming vampire themed RPG from Dontnod, the studio behind Life is Strange and the ironically rarely remembered Remember Me. It is set to arrive this June 5th, bringing with it a complex story about a doctor that's trying to prevent a plague from sweeping through London, all the while wrestling with his vampiric curse that forces him to feed on those he's sworn to protect.
If this sounds like the type of RPG you would like to dive into, allow me to share with you the recently posted system requirements and recommended specs. All of these were originally posted on the Nvidia website so don't expect to find any AMD GPUs listed out, but I'm sure you'll be able to figure out where your GPU stands in comparison. And with that said, here's the list, as well as what sort of performance and quality you can expect to see with each combination:

[Update #2] The patch is now live. You can find the full patch notes, as well as more about the accompanying "The Queen and the Crone" DLC over here.
[Update]: Creative Assembly has now released a lengthy campaign preview. You can check it out over here.
This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise given that it was leaked quite a while ago, but Total War: Warhammer 2 will soon be getting a brand new piece of DLC - Queen and the Crone. In terms of content, the Queen and the Crone will bring with it two fancy new Legendary Lords with unique campaign mechanics, a new Hero type for the High Elves and a new Lord type for the Dark Elves, as well as a whole bunch of new units and Regiments of Renown to play around with.
If you're curious about what all of this might look like in-game, as well as what the new units are all about, you'll find the answers you seek in the recently posted trailer. Have a look, it's short but sweet:

If you've somehow managed to avoid playing Rainbow Six Siege despite its many sales and free weekends, you'll be glad to hear that you now have another chance. Simply visit Steam, click on that shiny green "Play Game" button, and you'll be able to explore what Rainbow Six Siege has to offer until Monday.
As for whether its actually worth playing, I would say the answer is a definite yes. It might not be my cup of tea, but even I can appreciate the fact that Ubisoft is constantly working on making Rainbow Six Siege better, both in terms of bug fixes and content updates. So if you're up for a tactical team-based shooter, and you don't mind a bit of a steeper difficulty curve, Rainbow Six Siege is well worth trying out, especially when you can do so for free!

While I haven't played the ridiculously over-the-top third-person shooter Loadout in quite a few years now, I'm still saddened to announce that it will be closing down its doors on May 24th. As it turns out, the constantly declining playerbase, rising costs and the upcoming GDPR legislation have all combined to create a situation where the developer Edge of Reality simply could not keep the game running any longer.
"We don't have the resources to update Loadout to GDPR compliance, and a big portion of Loadout players come from the EU. Sadly, while big companies have the resources to comply with the GDPR, that's not always the case for small businesses", reads the brief announcement. "We still protect your privacy, and we wouldn't dream of doing otherwise. We just don't have the resources to overhaul Loadout and implement new features to meet a large list of new requirements."

[Update]: All 11 of the upcoming Anniversary skins have now been leaked. You can check them out over here.
Overwatch's second Anniversary update is set to arrive this May 22nd, bringing with it a whole host of new cosmetics, as well as all of the previous seasonal brawls and items. We're talking about an absolutely massive amount of content, so if you ever wanted to give Overwatch a try, this new update would be a pretty darn good time to do so!
As such, I am more than happy to announce that Overwatch will be having a free weekend on both PC and consoles from 11:00 PT (20:00 CET) on May 25th until May 28th. In terms of content, you will have access to absolutely everything Overwatch has to offer: all of the heroes, all of the maps, all of the seasonal events, and naturally, all of the cosmetic items. Naturally, should you eventually decide to purchase Overwatch, your progress and cosmetics will carry over to the full version.

As I've mentioned in my review, Total War: Thrones of Britannia is equal parts innovative and flawed. It features a variety of interesting new systems, as well as improved versions of ones we've seen in Rome 2 and Attila, yet due to the incredibly easy campaign very few of those systems actually have any meaning. With that in mind, I am very glad to say that the upcoming balance patch will be addressing these problems directly.
The list of changes is fairly extensive, so if you're interested in all of the details you should head on over to the official website. On the other hand, if you prefer the short version, allow me to share the most interesting and impactful changes. The list is still a bit on the lengthy side, but I'm afraid there's no helping that given how many truly important changes this update is bringing with it. Anyway, have a look:

For some completely unexplainable reason, Crusader Kings 2's community and developers have a bit of a fascination with the crusades. However, since the crusades were one of the first things that arrived with Crusader Kings 2 they are a bit underdeveloped, at least compared to what their true potential could be. As such, I am very glad to say that Crusader Kings 2's namesake will be getting a rather sizable overhaul in the upcoming patch!
"The Catholic faith will no longer use the old Great Holy War system - instead they will use a new and improved system specifically tailored to both increase immersion and enhance the gameplay surrounding the crusades," reads the lengthy developer update. "We have specifically aimed to fix the issue where, unless you intend to win the crusade, there was no real reason for you as a player to participate except to get the ‘Crusader’ trait."

After spending quite a bit of time on the beta servers, Vermintide 2's rather hefty Update 1.0.8 has now finally been released. Besides a whole host of bug fixes, the update has brought with it a much-needed nerf to the Glaive and some nice buffs to the Elf's dual weapons, a slight nerf to Chaos hordes so that they're less likely to one-shot players with combined strikes, a whole bunch of new and class-specific voice lines, as well as some rather welcome performance improvements across the board.
Perhaps most importantly, at least as far as fairness is concerned, Update 1.0.8 has reworked every single level in order to prevent enemies from attacking players behind walls, fences, and other such obstructions. It's not exactly the most exciting change around, but it's one that should make Legend difficulty a lot less frustrating, and consequently a lot more enjoyable. After all, there is nothing more infuriating than dying to a Globadier or Rattling Gunner that are firing straight through a solid wall!

Boss Key Productions has not been in a good spot for a very long time now. LawBreakers failed to make any sort of impact, and while the newly released Radical Heights has a fairly decent playerbase, it would appear that it is nowhere near enough to support a fully staffed studio. As such, I am afraid that Boss Key Productions is now shutting down.
"Four years ago I set out to make a world class video game studio and I hired some of the best talent in the videogame industry. They worked tirelessly to produce a quality product and, while we had our ups and downs, I'd like to think we had fun doing it," said Cliff Bleszinski in a brief announcement on Twitter. "LawBreakers was a great game that unfortunately failed to gain traction, and, in a last ditch attempt we scrambled to do our take on the huge battle royale genre with Radical Heights which was well received, however, it was too little too late."

By all accounts, Hanzo's recent rework has been a massive success. He went from being a hero that most people considered completely useless at best and absolutely infuriating at worst, to one that many now believe to be both meta-defining and highly enjoyable. The only problem is that Hanzo's power level is currently a bit too high, which is why I'm glad to say that Blizzard is now looking to nerf his Storm Arrows ability.
"We’re reducing the damage per arrow from 80 to 70, which not only drops them out of one-shot territory for 200 hp heroes (w/ dmg boost), but also drops them out of one-shot range of 150 heroes such as Tracer and D.Va pilot," reads the brief announcement. "The ability will still be very strong overall, but this change should help mitigate the most frustrating element of fighting against it. We’re looking at getting this change up onto the PTR soon."
