Total War: Warhammer 2 screenshot of the Dark Elves fighting High Elves

Creative Assembly has been announcing brand new additions to Total War: Warhammer 2 for quite a few weeks now, so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that something big is brewing. As discovered by maark91 over at Reddit, the Total War: Warhammer 2 IMDb page has been updated to show that Joel Gorf is voicing a Shadow Walker in a currently announced "The Queen and The Crone" DLC.

While no actual confirmation has been given just yet, this seems to be a pretty darn credible 'rumor'. After all, there are still plenty of High Elf and Dark Elf units and lords to draw from, and what better characters to pick than Alarielle the last Everqueen and her counterpart Crone Hellebron, one of the most ancient and powerful Hag Queens.

Besides the aforementioned Shadow Walkers, not much is known about the sort of units we'll get in The Queen and The Crone DLC, but I can at least offer some informed speculation. The Handmaidens are pretty much guaranteed to be included given their tight connection to the Everqueen, while on the Dark Elf side there is a good chance we'll be getting the Cauldrons of Blood given their importance to Hellebron's story. I'm also expecting to see the Sisters of Avelorn as some sort of elite unit for the High Elves, while on the Dark Elf side I'm assuming the Sisters of Slaughter will be joining the fight as a sort of counter-balance.

Whether any of this is correct or not, that still remains to be seen, but if true then this upcoming DLC is going to be quite an interesting one! Once more information gets released I'll make sure to update you, but until then I'm afraid all we can do is sit and wait. Or rather, wait and speculate!
