This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise given that it was leaked quite a while ago, but Total War: Warhammer 2 will soon be getting a brand new piece of DLC - Queen and the Crone. In terms of content, the Queen and the Crone will bring with it two fancy new Legendary Lords with unique campaign mechanics, a new Hero type for the High Elves and a new Lord type for the Dark Elves, as well as a whole bunch of new units and Regiments of Renown to play around with.

The fun doesn't end there, however, as Creative Assembly has also announced that the long-awaited Norsca patch will arrive alongside the Queen and the Crone DLC on May 31st. If you already own Norsca in Total War: Warhammer 1, or if you pre-ordered Total War: Warhammer 2, you will not need to buy it again. It will become available the moment the patch goes live, though it won't be the exact same Norsca as the faction is getting a couple of new Monster Hunts to undertake.

As an additional little bonus, this update will also add Alith Anar as a brand new (and free) Legendary Lord for the High Elves. You can learn more about him, as well as the update itself, by heading over to the official website.
