Dying Light: The Following - 10 Minutes Of New Gameplay
- By Ash

Before we move on the gameplay video its important to note that Dying Light: The Following is getting a price increase on December 8, the reason being that the DLC is far larger than was originally planned. The price will be going up from $15 to $20 so if you were planning to get it make sure you do it before December 8.
With that said here's the gameplay video and you can decide for yourself whether the price increase is warranted or not.
[Rumor] Final Fantasy X & X-2 Coming To Steam
- By Ash
- in News
As with any rumor take everything you read here with a grain of salt. While I don't think the leak is fake (given that you can check yourself) it still doesn't mean that the games are coming, or if they are, coming any time soon. Halo 3 showed up in a similar leak a while back yet never appeared on PC.
With all of that said, a couple of people over at Neogaf complied a list of games they found by digging through Steam's help website. Most interesting of which are Final Fantasy X & X-2 as well as the sequel to the immensely popular (how do I even own this?) and amazing Bad Rats!
Paragon - A New MOBA From Epic Games Now Has A Trailer And Gameplay Footage

I'll be perfectly honest here, I don't think the world needs more MOBAs right now but at least Epic is willing to try something different with Paragon. Unlike the more RTS nature of other MOBAs Paragon is mixing in some shooter elements in there as well so you'll control heroes in a third person POV and aim much like how you would in a shooter.
You can take a look at the cinematic trailer here and if you're interested in actual gameplay I've embedded the short clip below.
Trailer And Graphical Comparison For The Upcoming Day Of The Tentacle Remastered

A lot of people that read this today might not have been old enough to to play Day of the Tentacle when it released back in 1993, I certainly wasn't. When I finally did get around to it I found a game with extremely funny dialogue and even better voice acting, truly one of LucasArts best.
And now after months of teasing us with a few screenshots here and there, Day of the Tentacle Remastered has a trailer showcasing improvements in both graphics and audio quality.
New Half Life 2: Episode 4 Screenshots - A Game That Was Never To Be
- By Ash
- in News
Nope, that was not me making a typo, I am actually referring to Episode 4. What do you mean you haven't even played Episode 3? All joking aside, Episode 4 was to be done in collaboration with Arkane (most famous these days for Dishonored) and set time-wise near the end of Episode 2 with the main character (perhaps even Gordon?) returning to Ravenholm.
For various reasons this project never came to be but traces of it still keep surfacing every few years. The folks over at Valvetime have once again unearthed new screenshots of Episode 4 which you can check out either through their website or the video embedded below.
Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn Gameplay Trailer - I Can't Believe This Is Actually Happening

Man games were crazy back in the day. Get this, someone actually made a fighting game based on a famous basketball player who goes through a dimensional portal in order to fight otherworldly caricatures of various Egyptian figures. As you might imagine it sucked pretty badly and there was even a website dedicated to its utter annihilation. But, after a while the game was quietly forgotten and left to rest on the shelves of history.
Until a few years ago when the world decided Shaq-Fu 2 was a game worthy of raising $458,884 through its indiegogo campaign. I still find this whole thing absurd but the developers behind Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn have taken the money and two years later are ready to show their progress. The best bit? It actually looks fun, in a cheesy sort of way.
Shadwen - A Time Manipulating Stealth Game From Trine Developer Frozenbyte
- By Ash
- in News
I love the direction games are taking these days. Even 5 years ago it would've been impossible to find stealth games, let alone good ones, and nowadays there are plenty to chose from with a lot more coming up. While the AAA might prefer remakes and retreads indie developers took it upon themselves to resurrect many niche genres, one of my favorite being the stealth games.
And that is exactly what Frozenbyte's recently announced Shadwen is. Not an action game that has stealth elements but rather one where you sneak because the enemies are far stronger and you will only be able to make it through with skill and wit rather than brutality.
