SMITE world championship begins tomorrow and a new cinematic trailer has been released

In order to celebrate the upcoming World Championship for their free 2 play MOBA Hi-rez Studios have released a fancy new cinematic trailer titled "To Hell & Back"

Personally I'm not really sure their music choice was a good idea for a trailer of this sort but its still rather nice to be able to see the characters with some high quality models. You can check out the trailer right below:

A Boy And His Blob Are Making Their Way To The PC, PS4, Xbox One And Vita

A Boy and His Blob are coming to the PC, PS4, Vita and Xbox One

If you've missed out on the Wii version of A Boy and His Blob you're going to have a chance to correct that as the game is making its way to the PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Vita relatively soon, on Janaury 19th to be exact.

A Boy and His Blob is a charming puzzle-platformer with some really great visuals and interesting narrative wrapping all of it together so it is a shame that it got somewhat overlooked after its release on the Wii. Hopefully with this new port it'll get the recognition it deserves.

Cally's Caves 3 Review - PC Version

My review for Cally's Caves 3 - a colorful and rather difficult action platformer

Cally's Caves 3 is a colorful but rather difficult run & gun platformer with plenty of unique weapons and combat styles to chose from as well as enemies to fight.

It also features a frankly impressive amount of content. The standard playthrough will take you around 6 hours during which you will visit many different zones, find various weapons ranging from boomerangs to rocket launchers as well as a whole bunch of enemies and bosses to use them on.

And once you're done with all of that you'll still have new game modes and levels available to you, the most interesting of which is the New Game + mode which ups the challenge and adds many new enemies for you to fight and upgrades to collect.

The new Polaris GPU architecture promises great performance improvements for AMD cards

During today's Consumer Electronics Show AMD had a rather big announcement to make, that of a completely new GPU architecture they've titled Polaris.

Door Kickers 2 has been announce today and its going to mark the game's transition in to 3D

[Update]: A greatly improved version of Door Kickers 2 has now been pinned for a Q2, 2020 release date.

If this is your first time meeting Door Kickers its best explained as a real time strategy game where you take control of a SWAT team during a tactical intervention against overwhelming numbers of armed opponents. A successful raid is all about good planning, timing, coordination and most importantly kicking down doors.

When Door Kickers released back in 2014 it received overwhelmingly positive reviews and has since then added even more content so I'm very glad I can tell you that Door Kickers 2 is now in the works according to a recent developer blog post. Here's the full announcement message:

Rumor: Next Assassin's Creed Will Be Set In Egypt, Possibly Arriving In 2017

According to a rumor the next Assassin's Creed game will be set in Egypt and will be called Empire

Assassin's Creed games have become somewhat of a certainty in recent times with every year bringing one, or even multiple additions to the series. As a result they have become less and less innovative over the years, not to mention a lot less polished with Ubisoft rushing to meet their yearly Assassin's Creed quota.

However, according to a rumor that originated on 4chan and got confirmed by Kotaku Ubisoft might be slowing down the tempo with big Assassin's Creed games in order to allow them more time for improvements and polish as the series reputation took a big hit from the mess that was Unity.
