The Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak story teaser trailer was released today

Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, despite seemingly coming out of nowhere, was in the making for about three years now. Initially it started under a completely different name, that of Hardware: Shipbreakers, as a spiritual successor to the Homeworld franchise by some of the old developers.

Luckily Gearbox, who owns the Homeworld license these days, saw potential in the game and officially partnered with them thus securing both the license and much needed resources for a new Homeworld game to appear.

With the release date set for a relatively close January 20th Gearbox has finally decided to give us a glimpse at the story of Deserts of Kharak in the shape of a trailer titled "Primary Anomaly".

Dragon's Dogma might be getting a sequel if the PC port turns out to be a success

[Update]: It took a decade, but Dragon's Dogma 2 is now finally in development!

With Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen only a week away from its PC release on January 15th there has been a slue of information released about it.

The most interesting of which is definitely the interview a couple of Dragon's Dogma developers did with PC Gamer where they've stated that the team is still very interested in making a direct sequel.

Pillars of Eternity expansion White March Part 2 is being delayed a couple of weeks

The second dlc/expansion for Pillars of Eternity was originally slated to launch this month but is unfortunately being delayed in order to ensure it comes out as polished as it can be. On the bright side at least you'll have time to finish up Part 1.

Thankfully the delay is rather short as the new release date set for Pillars of Eternity: White March Part 2 is on February 16th, only an extra few weeks of waiting. You can find the teaser trailer below:

Far Cry Primal now has a release date and PC system requirements

Far Cry Primal got announced out of nowhere just about a month ago and already we have a confirmed release date and PC system requirements indicating its more or less finished. That level of hush-hush for a company as big as Ubisoft is quite impressive.

The Binding Of Isaac: Afterbirth+ Is Going To Be A Paid DLC

The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ expansion is going to be a paid piece of DLC according to Edmund McMillen

If you're confused about what Afterbirth+ is, its essentially an upcoming piece of DLC for The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth that will bring with it new items & enemies, a bestiary, a couple of features they are being very hush-hush about and most importantly mod support along with tools that will allow you to fiddle with the game's code in order to create whatever monstrosities lay in your imagination.

Details about the DLC itself were rather scarce when it was first announced but in a recent blog post Edmund McMillen, who is now apparently evil, shared a few tidbits of information on Afterbirth+ including the fact that it is going to be a paid piece of DLC rather than a free update as many expected.
