Phoenix Point is an upcoming turn-based strategy game

For those of you that don't know anything about him, Julian Gollop was the designer and one of the main driving forces behind the original XCOM series whose gameplay holds up even to this date, despite some clunkiness.

After finishing up work on his latest title, the turn-based RPG Chaos Reborn, Gollop has set his sights on making a brand new game - Phoenix Point.

Nova Covert Ops first mission pack releases on March 30th

Despite not being a fan of the story direction Blizzard took with Starcraft 2 I've still spent far more time than I'm willing to admit playing and replaying the campaigns, simply because they've managed to absolutely nail the gameplay, variety and level of challenge.

If you're in the same camp as I am you'll be delighted to hear that the first part of the brand new 'Nova Covert Ops' DLC campaign is coming on March 30th. Here's the trailer and a bit of information on what to expect:

Total War Battles: Kingdom is coming March 24th

This isn't the first time Creative Assembly has attempted to make a free-to-play version of Total War, that honor belongs to the somewhat mediocre Total War Battles: Shogun.

However, while Shogun was a massive departure from the classic Total War formula the upcoming Total War Battles: Kingdom looks to be a proper spin-off. Here's the trailer and a bit of information on what to expect from Kingdom:

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada - First Impressions & Thoughts On The Closed Beta

A brief overview of the features found in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada

[Update]: I've done a full review on Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, so if you're interested in my thoughts on the campaign and the release version in general, head over here.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is a Warhammer 40k themed strategy game that features large scale space battles between four distinct factions, each with their own ridiculously large ships and weaponry.

It is currently in a multiplayer beta, so while the core of the game is fully present there are some bugs and balance issues that will need to be ironed out prior to launch. Here are my thoughts after playing around with it for 10 hours:

LawBreakers will no longer be free to play

LawBreakers is an upcoming FPS in which even the laws of physics can be violated, resulting in a fast paced arena multiplayer experience with some rather unique mobility options.

It was initially slated to release as a free-to-play title, but due to an increase in scope and worries about balance the team opted to instead make it a fully-fledged paid release. Here's the most recent gameplay trailer and a few words from CliffyB on why they abandoned the free-to-play model:
