Mordheim: City of the Damned devs are working on an official Necromunda: Underhive Wars game

[Update #2]: Necromunda: Underhive Wars has now arrived for PC and consoles, though not without a fair few bugs.
[Update]: Warhammer 40k themed tactical RPG Necromunda: Underhive Wars is launching on September 8, 2020!
After successfully bringing over Games Workshop's tabletop classic Mordheim to the PC, the developer Rogue Factor is now going to attempt to do the same for Necromunda: Underhive Wars. As you might expect given its inspiration, Necromunda is going to be a turn-based tactical RPG set in the grim darkness of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
While there isn't much information to go on right now, the announcement message does paint a rather troubled world: "Rival gangs of ruthless warriors are locked in an endless war for control of the Underhive, a gigantic warren of derelict factories, rusted metal husks, and forgotten technologies. Anarchy, violence, betrayal and death rule this hellish place, long forsaken by any semblance of civilization."
According to Gabe Newell's recent Reddit AMA Valve is currently working on numerous new games, some of which will be VR

While I'm sure this is going to come as a massive shock to all of you, during his most recent Reddit AMA Gabe Newell stated that Valve is currently working on a couple of new games! And before you ask, no, Half-Life 3 is unfortunately not one of them. According to Gabe Newell "the number 3 must not be said", but on the positive side it does appear that Valve is interesting in doing more with the Portal/Half-Life universe! Whether this will actually transform into a tangible game, only the future will tell, but it is still good to hear that Valve hasn't abandoned their most interesting storylines.
As for what exactly these new games will be, the only thing I can tell you is that at least a couple of them are going to be VR based given Newell's quote: "The big thing right now is broadening the range of options we have in creating experiences. We think investing in hardware will give us those options. The knuckles controller is being designed at the same time as we're designing our own VR games."

If you enjoy playing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on the PC you'll be glad to hear that it has just recently been patched with a bunch of bug fixes and security/anticheat updates. The patch has also brought in various adjustments for mouse sensitivity in an effort to make gameplay smoother, as well as fixing an annoying bug where players would be unable to edit their weapons by using their mouse in Create a Class.
For those of you looking for all of the details I'll post the patch notes down below, but if you don't care about such things allow me to send you off with some rather good news - there is a double XP event ongoing until January 23rd for all PC users! As for the patch notes, here's the full list:
Obsidian is potentially teasing a new game with something called "Project Louisiana"

It has only been a couple of months since Obsidian's latest RPG Tyranny first arrived, and already they are teasing a brand new project. The first tweet arrived with a single image and a rather interesting quote: "I used to dream that when my god came back, he would forgive us. That's the trouble with dreams. Sooner or later, we all have to wake up." From what I've figured out the quote isn't referencing any sort of existing novel, but I must admit it does set up one hell of a story!
The second tweet brought with it a lot less information, but it did give us a link to an official forum for something called the "Project Louisiana". What exactly Project Louisiana is, that I'm afraid I can't tell you since I simply don't know, but the two leading theories so far point towards Fallout: New Orleans (a rumor that was debunked a while back) and Pillars of Eternity 2 (which is highly likely to happen given the success of its predecessor) as potential answers.

If you enjoy a bit of craziness with your card games, and you've somehow managed to miss the previous Chaos Arena event, you'll be glad to hear that Sheogorath will be making a second visit to The Elder Scrolls: Legends this Friday, January 20th. Unfortunately the Chaos Arena event will only last for a couple of days, or until January 23rd to be specific, so make sure to get the most out of it.
And for those of you wondering what the Chaos Arena event even is, its basically the Arena with a whole bunch of new and completely ridiculous scenarios, as well as a couple of rather interesting new lane conditions. If you're interested in the specifics, here's what Sheogorath has planned for this Friday:

If you've already completed Dishonored 2 and you're looking for even greater challenges, you might want to check out the recently updated Steam beta. Besides a variety of bug fixes, the full list you can find over at the Steam forums, the update has brought with it the ability to customize your difficulty through a variety of sliders.
You can adjust things such as how effective you are when leaning from behind a barrier, how quickly Sleep Darts take effect, how many active enemies are likely to attack you at the same time, and things like that. And for those of you that need an even greater challenge, there is also a brand new Iron Mode difficulty where you don't get to manually save, and where a single death will lead to a game over!
Star Wars Battlefront's January patch has brought in a bunch of bug fixes and balance changes

If you've given up on Star Wars Battlefront until the next big update I'm afraid you won't find anything of interest here, but if you're looking for a more balanced and bug free gameplay experience then the January patch should be right up your alley. Most notably, you will no longer be able to chain-stun heroes as they will be granted two seconds of immunity after being stunned once, which should go a long way towards making them much more enjoyable to use.
Since the whole update is fairly small in size you'll find the full patch notes down below. Here's the list:
