The VR version of Fallout 4 will be coming later this year for the HTC Vive

Unlike Doom VFR which is being created from the ground up with VR headsets in mind, Fallout 4 VR will be a reworked version of the standard game. In order to avoid some of the obvious problems Bethesda will be redesigning the combat, crafting, and building systems to better fit with the VR style of gameplay. Most notably, you will now have a choice between aiming with V.A.T.S. and aiming with your own two hands!
If you're interested in seeing what this might look like in-game you'll find the recently posted teaser trailer right below. Just bear in mind that a standard trailer will never truly capture the VR experience, so take everything you see with a few grains of salt as it'll be noticeably different when you're looking at it through a headset. Here's the video:
Code Vein is Bandai Namco's upcoming action-RPG with a focus on challenging encounters

The Dark Souls series may have ended, but its unique take on strategy and difficulty has given rise to an entirely new genre of action games. One such game is the recently announced Code Vein, a combat focused RPG that revolves around exploring a collapsed world and fighting a constant stream of challenging monsters.
As you'll see in the gameplay video below its obviously not a Dark Souls clone, but there is enough of its influence present to make it rather intriguing for fans such as me. So if you're curious about what Code Vein is all about, here's the recently posted E3 trailer:
The colorful 3D adventure-platformer Super Lucky's Tale is heading to PC and Xbox this November

Lucky's Tale launched back in 2017 as an exclusive tie-in game for the Oculus Rift, and as you would expect from an early VR game it received middling reviews. This setback didn't seem to affect the developers, however, as they have just announced a VR-free sequel for the Xbox One and PC.
There are currently very few details available, as is tradition for any game announced at E3, but thankfully there is a decently lengthy gameplay video showing off both the visuals and the type of levels you'll get to explore. Have a look:
Killer Instinct will be coming to Steam later this year

These past few weeks have really been great for the fighting game scene on Steam. Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, and King of Fighters XIV have all arrived alongside some very positive reviews, while E3 has given us the first glimpses at Dragon Ball FighterZ - a 2.5D 3v3 fighting game from the developers behind the Blaz Blue and Guilty Gear series.
If that's just not enough choices you might be interested to hear that Killer Instinct, Microsoft's big free-to-play fighting game that was supposed to get people hooked onto the Windows 10 Store, will be making its way to Steam later this year as well. All of this comes via the official Twitter account, though I'm afraid there are no details currently available.
Blasphemous is an upcoming dark and brutal hack & slash with a non-linear game world

[Update]: Blasphemous has now made its way to both PC and consoles alongside some rather solid reviews!
To say that the Kickstarter campaign for Blasphemous has been a success would be one hell of an understatement given that it currently sits on $228,215, over four times its original goal! And honestly, its easy to see why. Even in its earliest incarnation the dark and brutal hack & slash is oozing with atmosphere and style, which combined with the seemingly Castlevania inspired action makes for a rather intriguing game.
Since much of Blasphemous relies on the visuals and sound design I would be doing it a massive disservice by simply explaining what exactly it is, so allow me to instead show you the recently posted Kickstarter trailer. It has a fair bit of length to it, and almost no pointless fluff, so it should give you a pretty good idea of what Blasphemous is all about:
Malthael, Diablo 3's Aspect of Death, has now joined the Heroes of the Storm roster

Malthael, Diablo 3's Aspect of Death, has been one of the most requested Heroes of the Storm characters for quite a few months now. Unfortunately for the community, Blizzard had some crossover events planned with Overwatch so Malthael's announcement was not as swift as many had hoped, but the important thing is that he's now finally here!
If you're wondering what exactly he does, I'm sure its going to come as a massive surprise to hear that he's a melee assassin that's all about draining the souls of his enemies in order to empower and heal himself. For more details I would recommend checking out the recent character spotlight video. Have a look:
Total War: Warhammer 2's release date has been pinned for September
- By Ash
- in News
Total War: Warhammer 2 is going to be the second game in a trilogy that will span the entire Warhammer Fantasy universe and include all of the major playable races from the tabletop version. As for Total War: Warhammer 2 in specific, it will take place in the "New World" and will feature the High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, and Skaven (though they still haven't been fully revealed) all fighting over the Great Vortex.
After quite a few trailers, teasers, and previews Creative Assembly has now finally announced the official release date as well. You can expect to see Total War: Warhammer 2 on September 28th, though there will be some additions to the original in the meanwhile. What exactly those additions will be and how you'll be able to get them, I'm afraid I don't know, but it does appear to be some sort of pre-order bonus.
