A Hat in Time is a colorful 3D platformer with a focus on exploration and tons of collectibles

If the name sounds familiar, that would be because A Hat in Time has been in development for a very, very long time now. It first appeared back in the ancient times of 2013 as a rather successful Kickstarter campaign, though unfortunately its release date ended up being delayed over and over again. On the positive side, it would appear that the developers have now fixed everything that needed to be fixed as A Hat in Time will officially be releasing next week, and there will be no delays this time around!
The brief history lesson aside, its probably worth mentioning what A Hat in Time is even all about. To put it simply, its a 3D collect-a-thon with massive and wide-open levels, colorful visuals, cutesy characters, and a variety of power-ups that are all designed to help you further explore the map and discover even greater secrets. With this in mind, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that A Hat in Time draws a lot of its inspiration from oldschool classics such as Banjo-Kazooie or Super Mario 64.

Given the massive popularity of the show, as well as some rather impressive reviews for the original Attack on Titan game, it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise to hear that Attack on Titan 2 is currently in development. It will focus on the show's second season and bring with it a variety of new characters to play with (including a roster of Titans), as well as numerous improvements to both the action and storytelling elements.
The details are unfortunately in short supply, but you can get a good idea of what Attack on Titan 2 is all about through the two recently posted trailers. Have a look, they seem to have captured the spirit of the show quite nicely:

The Metroidvania inspired action-platformer SteamWorld Dig is currently free to grab on Origin

SteamWorld Dig 2 arrived a little while ago, and in order to get people interested in this particular brand of Metroidvania the developers are now offering the original SteamWorld Dig for free. So if you're up for shooting and tunneling your way through a variety of massive levels, simply head on over to Origin.
This promotion will last for a limited time only, though what exactly that means I'm afraid I don't know. The previous free games distributed by Origin were around for quite a few months, so I'd imagine the same will apply to SteamWorld Dig as well, but I would still recommend you get it as soon as possible, just to be on the safe side.
Sword Legacy: Omen is a challenging turn-based RPG with some rather stylized visuals

Sword Legacy: Omen is a challenging tactical RPG set in the world of Broken Britannia, a realm where technology and magic are heavily intertwined. You and your fellow heroes will have to embark on a lengthy journey to find and retrieve the long-lost legendary sword Excalibur. What this means in gameplay terms is that you will have a variety of environments to explore, numerous characters to interact with and potentially recruit, and naturally, hordes upon hordes of enemies to fight through turn-based combat most similar to Final Fantasy Tactics'.
While Sword Legacy: Omen is still nowhere near release, you can get a brief glimpse at what all of this looks like in-game through the recently posted trailer. Have a look, its quite an interesting art style:

After being teased for a couple of weeks now, Rocket League's Autumn Update has finally arrived. It brings with it the end of Season 5 and the beginning of Season 6, a brand new map by the name of Farmstead, Wasteland and Starbase ARC maps redesigned as standard arenas, as well as a whole bunch of new cosmetics to collect.
In terms of new features, this update has finally added local multiplayer to Rocket League! This is currently only available on the Steam version, but soon everyone will be able to host and join LAN matches for up to eight players without ever needing to connect to the Internet! Besides this amazing addition, the Autumn Update has also added transparent goalposts to make the goalie's life just a little bit easier, as well as the beta version of a new spectator camera to help out the budding esports scene.

After Star Wars Battlefront 1 got a fair bit of criticism due to a lack of content, EA has decided to go all-out with Battlefront 2. There will be a lot more maps to explore and ruin, a large variety of vehicles and weapons spread across the various Star Wars time periods, space-based combat with its own unique ships and gameplay systems, more villains and heroes to play around with, and perhaps most surprisingly of all, a lengthy singleplayer campaign with a focus on storytelling.
While the recently posted preview video won't offer you much of a look at campaign gameplay, it will give you a bit of an idea of just what kind of storyline the developers are going for. Have a look, its actually quite interesting:
