Jurassic World Evolution's latest in-game trailer offers a close up look at the various dinosaurs
- By Ash
- in News
While the details are still in short supply, Jurassic World Evolution appears to be a spiritual success to Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. In gameplay terms this means you'll be able to not only create and maintain your very own Jurassic Park, but also bioengineer entirely new dinosaur species. In order to ensure your experiments don't eat half of the island's population you will need to construct a variety of containment and research facilities, as well as attractions necessary to fuel your endless pursuit for ever-larger dinosaurs.
The recently posted in-game trailer does not offer much in terms of gameplay details, but what it lacks in substance it makes up with sheer amounts of dinosaurs! So if you're interested in seeing what Jurassic World Evolution will look and sound like, you'll find the trailer right below. Have a gander:

A Hat in Time is a colorful 3D action-platformer that was successfully Kickstarted back in the ancient times of 2013. After four years in development, as well as a myriad of changes since the initial demo, A Hat in Time has now finally arrived on PC!
As you might imagine from a game inspired by Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario 64, A Hat in Time features massive and wide-open levels that are primarily focused on exploration, colorful visuals and cutesy characters, a variety of power-ups and abilities to unlock, and the list goes on for quite a while. If you've ever played a 3D platformer before you probably already know what you're getting yourself into. If you need a bit of an example, however, allow me to share with you one of the most recent gameplay videos. Have a look:
Chris Avellone might be teasing some sort of Fallout related game
- By Ash
- in News
For those of you that might not be familiar with the genre, Chris Avellone has had a hand in just about every popular RPG in the past two decades: Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 2, Planescape Torment, Tides of Numenera, Icewind Dale, Knights of the Old Republic 2, Neverwinter Nights 2, and even Divinity: Original Sin 2. With that in mind, I hope you can now understand just how intriguing it is to hear that Chris Avellone might be teasing some sort of Fallout game!
All of this began last week when Avellone posted a fairly innocent image (pictured above) celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Fallout series. What really gave rise to the rampant rumors was Avellone's post a few days later - a hand-drawn image of him hugging the Vault Boy alongside the "I missed you so much" quote. There isn't much else to it, but if you're interested you'll find the drawing right below:
Star Wars Battlefront 2's Open Beta is now live on both PC and consoles
- By Ash
- in News
Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be coming to PC and consoles this November 17th, bringing with it a much larger variety of content than its predecessor. There will be a singleplayer campaign with an actual story to follow, a lot more maps to explore and demolish, a whole bunch of new weapons and vehicles spread across the various Star Wars time periods, a space-based combat mode with its own mechanics and special vehicles, and naturally, a new batch of heroes and villains to toy around with.
If all of this sounds like something you would love to check out, but you don't feel like spending €60 for the chance, you might be glad to hear that the Open Beta has now begun. The Open Beta will only last for until October 9th, so make sure to grab it from Origin as soon as possible. Its not a lot of time, but it should be enough to give you a good idea of what Battlefront 2 is all about, and whether its something you would even enjoy playing.

- in News
Arc System Works, the developers behind the BlazBlue and Guilty Gear series, have seemingly decided to take the fighting game scene by storm. During E3 2017 they announced Dragon Ball FighterZ, a 2.5D fighting game that so far looks to be pretty damn awesome, and then shortly afterwards the massive crossover game BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle featuring the cast of Persona 4 Arena, UNIEL, BlazBlue, and Rooster Teeth's RWBY!
If you're wondering what sort of characters you can expect from Cross Tag Battle, or what the gameplay is even going to be all about, you'll find the answer you seek in the recently posted gameplay video. Its a little bit lengthier than your usual gameplay trailer, but well worth giving a glance, if for no other reason than the visual style. Have a look:

The Humble Monthly Bundle is a $12 subscription service that instantly gives you access to one game (or in this case three), and then a whole bunch more once the next month rolls over. Last month the featured game was Rise of the Tomb Raider, while this time around you have a combination of Quake Champions, The Elder Scrolls: Legends and The Elder Scrolls Online.
Besides the game itself, Quake Champions also comes with 50 Shards, 100 Platinum, 2000 Favor, as well as the Ranger and BJ champions. The Elder Scrolls Online on the other hand is offering an extra 750 Crowns, as well as 15 free days of the ESO Plus subscription. The last and slightly less impressive The Elder Scrolls: Legends bonus pack brings with it 2 Skyrim Card Packs, 1 Event Ticket, 100 Gold, and 100 Soul Gems. That's a lot of stuff!
Some rather awesome Overwatch Halloween Terror skins have been accidentally leaked

- in News
Overwatch's second annual Halloween Terror event is set to begin on October 10th, bringing with it a whole bunch of new cosmetics and an updated version of the Doctor Junkenstein event. And as is tradition with pretty much every single major Overwatch update, a lot of the upcoming cosmetics have now ended up being accidentally leaked.
So if you're interested in seeing what the future will hold for Symmetra (pictured above), Zenyatta, Mei and Reaper, you'll find the images right below, courtesy of PfeiferWolf on Reddit who managed to get the screenshots in the first place. I'm afraid the images are not exactly amazing in terms of quality, but they'll do just fine as a small little preview of the Halloween event. Have a look:
