The console versions of Monster Hunter: World are set to arrive in the very near future, on January 26th to be specific. As for the PC version, it has just recently been announced that it will be coming at some point this autumn. It's going to be a rather lengthy wait, but on the positive side it does also mean the developers are prepared to take as long as necessary in order to make all of the dragon hunting as compelling as possible on the PC version.
And speaking of dragons, you might be interested to hear that the developers have recently posted a brief preview video showing off the various Elder Dragons in action. On a slightly more grounded note, it's also worth mentioning that the very first free content update in spring will bring with it the 'fan-favorite' and rather angry Deviljho. But for now, here's the video showing off the Elder Dragons:
Dark Souls Remastered will be coming this May with improved graphics and performance

The original Dark Souls is without a single doubt my favorite game of all time. It has its flaws and it's obvious the final portions of the game were rushed in order to meet the release date, but the world and its characters are so interesting and peculiar that I think they're going to be stuck in my head forever.
With that in mind, I hope you can now understand just how happy I am to say that Dark Souls will be getting a Remastered Edition! While it doesn't appear that Dark Souls Remastered will bring with it anything other than improvements to graphics and performance, it's still going to be worth checking out given that it'll release on every platform, including the portable Nintendo Switch!
Dragon Ball FighterZ's launch trailer has now arrived ahead of its January 26th release date

[Update]: Dragon Ball FighterZ's most likely final update will add the much-requested rollback netcode.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is an upcoming 2.5D fighting game from Arc System Works, the developers most famous for their work on the Blaz Blue and Guilty Gear series of fighting games. As you're probably aware at this point, the goal behind Dragon Ball FighterZ is to bring the gameplay and visuals as close as possible to the show itself, something the developers have managed to do quite admirably.
If you need a bit of proof, or just a closer look at Dragon Ball FighterZ in action, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer. It's not a very long one, but it gets the point across. Have a look:
The isometric action-RPG Seven: The Days Long Gone now has a free demo available
- By Ash
- in News
Seven: The Days Long Gone is a 3D isometric RPG that lets you explore a massive sandbox world in whichever way you want. You can climb just about anything in order to avoid guards and potential obstacles, sneak through enemy encampments in order to sabotage defenses and plunder riches, or if you feel the situations favors you, try a full-on assault with a combination of weapons and magic.
According to most of the Steam reviews the gameplay in Seven is quite good, especially the whole stealth and climbing systems, but unfortunately there are also quite a few bugs present that hamper some of that enjoyment. Sometimes you can get stuck in walls, other times the enemy AI will go haywire and start running in circles, or you might just crash over and over again on a loading screen.
Gwent's second Faction Challenge has the Monsters square off against Nilfgaard
- By Ash
- in News
While Northern Realms players left the first Faction Challenge with a smile on their face and two extra cards in their collection, the challenge as a whole was a bit of a mess. Most of the problems could be attributed to the simple fact that the Gwent website clearly showed which faction was winning, which naturally resulted in a snowball effect as people kept piling on in order to get their guaranteed rewards.
This has thankfully been fixed for the second Faction Challenge, the one that will have Monsters and Nilfgaard players square off in order to secure an exclusive character border. As before, the Faction Challenge will last for an entire week (as of right now), and all you need to do in order to participate is to secure wins with your favorite factions. The only requirement is that you have to play in the Casual, Ranked, and Pro Ladder game modes in order for your wins to count, for obvious reasons.
Episode 4 of Telltale's Batman: The Enemy Within adventure game series is set to arrive tomorrow

Telltale used to be a bit inconsistent with their releases, but as of recently they've managed to get things working like clockwork. As such, Episode 4 of the Batman: The Enemy Within adventure game series is set to arrive tomorrow, on January 23rd, which is exactly two months from the previous episode - just as Telltale promised!
There aren't that many details available just yet, for obvious spoiler-related reasons, but what I can tell you is that Episode 4 will focus heavily on the impending showdown between Batman and the Joker. As for the side-stories, expect to find out what's truly motivating Amanda Waller and the Agency, how John Doe will handle the truth about Bruce, as well as when and how the Pact will regroup.
Monster Hunter: World's recent gameplay preview shows off the rather colorful Coral Highlands zone

With Monster Hunter: World's console release date just around the corner, on January 26th to be specific, the developers have started releasing a variety of gameplay previews. If you don't mind a bit of Japanese you'll find a fairly extensive gameplay trailer over here, whereas those of you more interested in uncut gameplay will find a lengthy showcase of the dark and gloomy Rotten Vale zone over yonder instead.
If you're looking for a bit of color, however, you should check out the video below as it shows off the rather beautiful Coral Highlands. The video is a little bit on the lengthy side, but it's well worth a look if you're wondering what the Monster Hunter series is even all about. Have a gander:
