The only catch is that this whole giveaway will last until May 21st, so do make sure to snatch a copy before the whole thing goes away. Once you have it bound to your account you won't have to do anything else, it'll be yours to keep, so it's better to just do it now while you still remember.

Total War: Warhammer 2's Amethyst update has added a new Wizard and some fresh balance changes

[Update]: Total War: Warhammer 2's next DLC, The Hunter & The Beast, will be greatly improving the Empire faction, as well as adding some lovely new units for the Lizardmen!

Total War: Warhammer 2's recent The Prophet and the Warlock DLC brought in two new factions to play around with, as well as a whole bunch of new units. While certainly fun to use, some of these new units and abilities were so ridiculously overpowered that the AI would simply roll over dead every time you met it. This goes doubly so for the new Skaven faction as surprise, surprise, the Empire armies aren't exactly capable of dealing with a nuclear missile!

In order to correct these balance problems, as well as fix some of the newer bugs, Creative Assembly has now released The Amethyst Update. The Skaven and Lizardmen armies have received some much-needed nerfs, the Invocation of Nehek spell has once again been weakened, while the Beastmen Cygor and Giant units have finally got some nice damage buffs to help compensate for their size.

If you're tired of endless action and you're looking for a bit of a different experience, you might want to check out the newly released A Plague Tale: Innocence. It is a stealth and story focused adventure that will have you avoid murderous knights and hordes of ravenous rats, all in an effort to keep your sibling safe while you figure out what in the world is actually happening.

Since A Plague Tale: Innocence is heavily focused on atmosphere I won't waste your time by trying to describe it through words alone. Instead, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer as that'll give you a pretty good idea of just what kind of game you're getting yourself into:

[Update]: VR action game The Walking Dead Onslaught is coming to PC and PSVR on September 29, 2020!

While the quality of The Walking Dead games hasn't exactly been the greatest outside of Telltale's series, there is a bit of hope on the horizon. Survios, the developers behind the highly enjoyable VR game Raw Data, have now announced that they are working on the VR-based The Walking Dead Onslaught.

You can get a bit of a sneak peek at what The Walking Dead Onslaught will be like, as well as what sort of weapons you will get to use, through the recently posted teaser trailer. Have a gander, but don't expect much in terms of actual gameplay as this is just a teaser:

World of Warcraft's latest cinematic Safe Haven depicts Thrall's long-awaited return to the Horde

Close up screenshot of Thrall from World of Warcraft's newest cinematic Safe Haven

The current Horde storyline in World of Warcraft is in quite a predicament. On one hand there's a large amount of people who absolutely hate Sylvanas and the shift towards the Horde being the objectively evil faction, while on the other hand you have a sizable chunk of people who hate how the entire storyline right now seems to be centered around undermining everything Sylvanas does. It really is a bit of a mess.

While the solution to this problem doesn't appear to be coming anytime soon, I am happy to say that the story is getting a bit more interesting, as you'll see in the recently posted Safe Haven cinematic. Have a gander, it's quite a lovely one:

RAGE 2 has now landed onto PC and consoles alongside some rather mixed reviews

[Update]: Rage 2's very first expansion Rise of the Ghosts is coming on September 26th.

After a massive amount of previews and trailers, RAGE 2 has now finally made its way to PC and consoles. As you would expect, RAGE 2 is a first-person shooter set in a dystopian future, though unlike it's predecessor, it is a lot more colorful, cheesy and delightfully over-the-top.

If you're wondering how all of that translates into actual gameplay, and especially the last few parts, allow me to share with you the recent launch trailer. Have a gander, it's certainly an interesting one:

Ubisoft's pirate-themed adventure Skull & Bones has been delayed once more

[Update #2]: Skull and Bones has been delayed yet again, though this time we have an actual release date - March 9th, 2023!

[Update]: Ubisoft has once again reaffirmed they're still hard at work on the pirate-themed Skull & Bones.

Originally, Ubisoft's pirate-themed adventure Skull & Bones was lauded as a competitor to Sea of Thieves, and it genuinely seemed like it could blow it out of the water with superior visuals and better ship controls. However, while Sea of Thieves ended up being released and patched multiple times over, the only real pieces of information we got from Skull & Bones were news about delays.

I would love to tell you this is where Skull & Bones turns the ship around and truly makes a name for itself, but I'm afraid we're in for a repeat of everything that has happened so far. In other words, Skull & Bones has been delayed yet again, and there is still no official release date set for it.
