If you're a fan of games with a heavy focus on atmosphere and visual storytelling, you might want to keep an eye on the newly announced Bramble - The Mountain King. The details are currently few and far between, but as you'll see in the teaser below, Bramble has an always-compelling combination of bizarre yet intriguing visuals, eerie music, and an atmosphere that's so thick you can practically cut it with a knife.
But don't just take my word for it! You can check out the recently posted teaser trailer right below. Have a gander, it really is a lovely one:
Mortal Kombat 11 devs are working on removing the 30 FPS cap on certain animations

[Update]: The developers have now added options for 60 FPS throughout all of Mortal Kombat 11, though this has brought about some issues.
While Mortal Kombat 11 runs at 60 FPS throughout most of the match, there are certain animations that are locked to 30 FPS. This is most easily noticeable on close-up animations like fatalities as it makes them feel just a bit more sluggish than the rest of the game.
With that in mind, I am glad to say that the developers are now working on giving players the option of increasing the cap from 30 to 60 FPS. The exact release date for this tweak has not been announced just yet, but according to the most recent update, there will be more details coming "soon".

[Update]: Don't Starve is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a massive bugfixing and quality-of-life focused update.
After a rather successful stay in Steam Early Access, Don't Starve's Hamlet expansion has now finally released in full. Besides the aforementioned aristocratic Pigmen, the Hamlet brings with it the ability to create your very own house, a whole bunch of new regions to explore and monsters to die to, three unique new characters to mess around with, as well as plenty of ruins to delve through in search of secrets and giant spiders.
You can get a bit of an idea of what this looks like in-game, as well as how fancy the Pigmen civilization truly is, through the recently posted trailer down below. Have a gander:
Blood Bowl 3, Warhammer's extreme version of American football, is coming to PC in 2020
- By Ash
- in News
Out of all the Warhammer spin-off games, Blood Bowl is definitely the most bizarre and interesting one. It's basically American football where teams of elves, dwarfs, orks, undead and even demons of chaos, all gather together to play an extremely violent version of the sport where beating the opposing team up is just as important as controlling the ball.
If that sort of crazy nonsense sounds like a good bit of fun, you might be interested to hear that Blood Bowl 3 has now been announced. Very few details have been revealed just yet, but what I can tell you is that Blood Bowl 3 will be developed by Cyanide Studios, the developers behind the previous two games, and that it will feature all-new rules in order to address some of the long-standing complaints.
Overwatch's Anniversary event will be coming this May 21st with both new and old cosmetics in tow

- in News
I hope you've managed to save up some in-game currency, because Overwatch's third Anniversary event will be arriving this May 21st. No official end date has been announced just yet, but given that the previous events stuck around for three weeks, I think it's safe to say this Anniversary event will end around June 10th.
As far as content is concerned, the Anniversary event will bring with it a bunch of new cosmetics (including a D.Va skin that is so good it'll "break the Internet"), all of the previous seasonal brawls, as well as all of the previous event cosmetics. And yes, this does include the most recent Storm Rising event. So if you have any achievements you want to complete or skins you want to collect, this would be your last chances for the foreseeable future.
