[Update #2]: A World Betrayed has now arrived alongside a massive free update.

[Update]: Creative Assembly has now detailed everything that's coming with the A World Betrayed update.

It has only been a little while since Total War: Three Kingdoms's massive Mandate of Heaven DLC arrived, and already Creative Assembly has announced a brand new one - A World Betrayed. This time around the action takes place in 194 CE, after the fall of many notable warlords, and deals with the rise of a new generation of rulers and their own attempts at greatness.

In terms of content, A World Betrayed brings with it two new factions led by Lü Bu and Sun Ce, as well as thirteen returning factions to spice things up. Expect to also see unique faction mechanics and missions, new legendary characters and events, and naturally, a couple of new units to toy around with.

[Update #2]: Frictional Games have released the full source code for the original two Amnesia games!

[Update]: Amnesia: Rebirth is launching on October 20, 2020!

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is without a doubt one of the most influential horror games of the past decade. With a focus on atmosphere and tension over simple jump-scares, Amnesia managed to create a truly harrowing experience by letting the players stew in their own anticipation and fear. After all, there is no monster scarier than the one we imagine could be just around the next corner!

As such, I am incredibly happy to say that Frictional Games have now announced a brand new horror game - Amnesia: Rebirth. Here's a brief teaser to get you into the right mood:

Hearts of Iron IV has recently received an espionage and sabotage focused expansion - La Résistance

Despite it releasing quite a few years ago, it appears that Paradox is still not done working on Hearts of Iron IV. I say this because they have just recently launched a brand new and rather sizable expansion - La Résistance.

As the name itself would suggest, La Résistance brings in new focus trees for France that revolve around the underground fight for freedom, as well as the unexpected option to straight up restore the old French Monarchy, should you be so inclined. Espionage has also been added as a way of winning the information war, as well as developing resistance to an opponent's spying and overall influence. Needless to say, expect to be recruiting quite a few spies if you plan for your empire to last!

[Update #2]: The Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC has now arrived, and unfortunately it's a bit on the short side of things.

[Update]: Gearbox has released a ~12 minute preview showing off the very beginning of the Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC.

If you're in the mood for extending your Borderlands 3 playthrough even further, you might be interested to hear that the Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC is set to arrive this March 26th. It brings with it a massive new region to explore, a whole assortment of new loot to peruse and casually discard, as well as a storyline that will feature some old friends from Borderlands 2.

You can get a bit of a better idea of just what Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC has to offer, as well as who the returning characters might be, through the recently posted trailer. Have a gander, it's quite an action-packed one:

I hope you're in the mood for more The Division 2 content as Ubisoft has just launched the Warlords of New York expansion. It brings with it the hurricane-stricken streets of Lower Manhattan as a brand new zone to explore, a whole host of new items and missions, as well as a story campaign that will have you face off against former Division agent Aaron Keener.

Before you get to Keener, however, you will need to first dismantle his network of rogue agents. Each of these will have their own unique storylines and boss fights, as well as a fancy new skill reward once you finally manage to defeat them. And if you're looking for an even greater challenge, it's also worth mentioning that the Dark Zones have been retooled once more in order to better reward player-vs-player behavior.

Steam has added a handy News Hub to keep track of updates, events and announcements for your games

[Update]: Steam has now greatly improved the process of searching for games through keywords.

While Steam already provides developers with an easy way to list out updates and announcements for their games, all of this information is only really found if you actively select that game in your library or on the storefront. As such, it is entirely possible to miss events, updates and pretty much everything in-between, simply because you never really had a reason to click on the game itself.

In order to address this issue, Valve has now released the rather handy Steam News Hub as an experimental feature. As the name would suggest, the News Hub allows you to easily keep track of any sort of announcements or updates for the games you're interested in, as well as customize just what kind of news you want to see.

Ubisoft's Rainbow Six Siege tends to have free weekends fairly regularly, but if you've somehow managed to miss all of them, you'll be glad to hear a brand new one has arrived. Simply head on over to Steam, download the game, and you'll be running around like a headless chicken in no time!

As always, this free-to-play event is fairly time-limited. In other words, you only have until March 8th to check Rainbow Six Siege out, so do make sure to dive in as soon as possible if you're curious what all of the fuss is about.
