The Witcher 3's spin-off card game Gwent has now made its way to Steam

[Update #2]: CD Projekt Red will be drastically slowing down development on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game in 2023 and beyond.
[Update]: CDPR is working on a new singleplayer-focused card game adventure based on Gwent - project Golden Nekker.
While the card game Gwent has been around since The Witcher 3, it has gone through some rather massive changes ever since it went standalone. So even though it may share the same name and core mechanics, the Gwent of today is a far more expansive and balanced card game than The Witcher 3's mini-game.
If you're wondering just how different it truly is, this would be a pretty good time to find out as Gwent has now finally made its way to Steam. Much like the other platforms, including the main GOG one, the newly launched Steam version is free-to-play with a rather unobtrusive monetization system.

[Update]: After some technical troubles, online features are now back on the PC version of Dark Souls 3, while the rest of the series will follow soon.
Even though their difficulty is often vastly overstated, the Dark Souls games aren't exactly the most welcoming to beginners. Yet, despite all of this, Bandai Namco has now revealed that the Dark Souls series has been astonishingly successful!
In terms of actual numbers, they have announced that the Dark Souls series has cumulatively sold over 27 million copies! A lot of that success can be attributed to Dark Souls 3 as it alone has managed to sell over 10 million copies on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 combined.
Streets of Rogue 2 is now in development, though still a ways out

Streets of Rogue has received quite a few updates over the years, both in and out of Steam Early Access. However, as the scope of the game has expanded, adding new content has become trickier and trickier. Not only is there a whole bunch of interlocking systems that need to be kept in mind or else everything breaks, but fundamentally changing the actual gameplay is simply out of the question this long after launch.
The answer to this conundrum, as you might imagine, is a brand new sequel that can wipe the slate clean and really shake things up. With that in mind, I am pleased to say that the recently revealed Streets of Rogue 2 will be going in exactly that kind of direction! However, before you get too excited, it is worth mentioning that Streets of Rogue 2 is still incredibly early in its development.

Chex Quest was a total Doom conversion released all the way back in 1996 as a promotional game for Chex cereal. Despite all odds and the usual tie-in game curse, Chex Quest ended up not only being a good bit of fun, but also popular enough that it still has a small cult following to this very day.
So if you're curious about what exactly it has to offer, or if you're simply looking for a bit of a nostalgia trip, you'll be glad to hear that a modern HD remake of Chex Quest has now landed onto Steam. And best of all, it's entirely free to grab!

[Update]: If you're in the mood for more vampire themed RPGs, then you might also want to check out the newly announced Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong.
Much like its predecessor, Coteries of New York, the newly announced Shadows of New York will be a visual novel set in the rather fascinating Vampire: The Masquerade universe. It'll act as a standalone expansion to Coteries of New York, and while there will be reoccurring characters, you'll be able to fully enjoy it without any former knowledge.
As for the story, you will play as a member of the Lasombra clan that's tasked with investigating the murder of New York's Anarch leader. Needless to say, the whole thing is a trap and absolutely riddled with vampire politics, so weaving your way through all of the madness and staying alive will be just as important as figuring out who the killer is.

[Update]: The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV has now concluded the massive saga on both PC and Switch!
Just as Trails of Cold Steel III was making its way to PC, Nihon Falcom announced a brand new entry to the series. Trails of Cold Steel IV will arrive alongside the largest roster of characters out of any game in the series, greatly spruced up combat, as well as an assortment of new and returning minigames to mess around with.
If you're wondering what the story is going to be about, however, that you'll find out through the recently posted trailer. Just bear in mind, if you haven't played the previous Trails of Cold Steel games, all of this might seem a little bit nonsensical. With that said, here's the trailer:

[Update]: The Emperor expansion has now arrived, though sadly with quite a few bugs.
If there is one thing you can say for certain about Paradox games, it would be that they are incredibly long-lasting. Europa Universalis IV released all the way back in the ancient times of 2013, and despite being nearly seven years old, Paradox is now planning to release a brand new expansion for it.
The titular expansion Emperor deals with the rise and fall of empires and offers a variety of new options for the Papacy, the Holy Roman Empire and numerous revolutionary movements. Here's the brief summary detailing what you can expect to see:
