[Update]: The Lords of the West expansion has now been unleashed, though not without some technical problems!

It's truly astonishing how even though Age of Empires II is as old as dirt this point, it not only still has hordes of loyal fans, but is also soon getting a brand new piece of content! And I'm not talking about small bits and pieces either, but rather a fully fledged expansion for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition called Lords of the West!

You can expect Lords of the West to bring with it two new civilizations (Burgundians and Sicilians) with their own unique twists and units, as well as three fully voice acted campaigns for you to sink your teeth into. As for what exactly these three campaigns will be about, that you can find out through the brief description below:

If you've somehow missed the dozens of previous giveaways for CDPR's very first game, The Witcher, you'll be happy to hear that there's a brand new one currently live. Best of all, this giveaway will not be going away next week as is usually the case, but will remain active indefinitely!

As you might imagine, this does mean there is a bit of a catch. In order to claim yourself a free copy of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition you will need to install the GOG Galaxy client and sign up for the GOG newsletter. A slight annoyance perhaps, but nothing too terrible.

With the race for Castle Nathria now well and truly underway, the disparity in power between the various classes and specializations has become extremely apparent. As such, I am very happy to say that Blizzard has decided to take a more proactive approach this time around and has already released a balance update in order to address the situation!

Overpowered DPS classes like Hunters, Druids and Death Knights have received their rightful nerfs, while the bottom-dwellers like Rogues, Demon Hunters and Warriors have snagged themselves some small but meaningful buffs. If you're curious about the actual details, here's the full list of PvE changes:

Star Wars: Squadrons update has added B-wings, TIE Defenders and a brand new map

Even though Star Wars: Squadrons might not be the biggest game around, EA and Motive Studios have done a rather admirable job supporting it so far. Despite saying that there will only be a couple of small updates post launch, they have already added a bunch of free content, and that pile has just become even larger!

The latest update has brought with it two fancy new ships to toy around with: the powerful but slow B-wings for The New Republic, and the absolutely ridiculous-looking TIE Defenders for the Empire. You can also expect to see Fostar Haven as a brand new map, an assortment of new customization options for your cockpit and pilot, and perhaps most importantly of all, the ability to create unique battle scenarios in Custom Matches.

MTG Arena's viking themed expansion Kaldheim is launching on January 28, 2021

[Update]: MTG Arena's Kaldheim expansion has arrived alongside vikings, angels, elves and plenty of snow.

If you're tired of the current Standard metagame and you're looking for something to shake things up a bit, you'll be pleased to hear that the next expansion is just around the corner. To be more specific, the viking themed Kaldheim will be launching on January 28, 2021 for MTG Arena and MTGO, while the physical version will follow on February 5th.

Given that this is the very first announcement none of the new cards have been revealed just yet, but I think it's safe to say Kaldheim will be continuing on with the double-faced cards introduced with Zendikar Rising. You can expect to see the last few double-faced rare lands to finish off the whole cycle, and if the rumors are true, weapons and enchantments that have creatures on the other side in order to offer a nice bit of flexibility.

[Update #2]: Overwatch is heavily nerfing Sigma, Wrecking Ball and Ashe, while also buffing Hanzo.

[Update]: Overwatch has added the Winter Wonderland 2020 event and amazing new Priority Pass system!

In an effort to bring some more diversity to the tank roster in higher tier matches, as well as tone down Sigma's dominance, Blizzard has now released some nifty buffs for D.Va and Reinhardt. A portion of D.Va's health has been transformed into armor to make her sturdier, while Reinhardt has received not only more health, but more melee damage as well!

Additionally, in order to ensure double-shield doesn't become a major part of the meta ever again, Blizzard has also toned down Baptiste's ultimate and Immortality Field. Here are all of the details:
