[Update]: Dead Cells' big indie game crossover update has now arrived with new items and costumes.

If you're itching for some more Dead Cells action, you'll be pleased to hear that a brand new piece of DLC has just arrived. Fatal Falls brings with it two new mid-game biomes filled with all sorts of traps and enemies to deal with. The Fractured Shrines will have you hop across a seemingly endless amount of floating islands, while the Undying Shores will have you scale a massive sea cliff while constantly under fire.

Should you manage to persevere, you'll also encounter a brand new boss located in the Mausoleum. The aging gardener that resides there harbors a deep love for flowers and mushrooms, and as you might imagine, will not take kindly to you stomping around and ruining all of his work. He also happens to be quite adept at using a massive scythe, so watch your head!

Post-apocalyptic kung-fu RPG Biomutant has now been pinned for a May 25, 2021 release date

[Update #2]: Biomutant has now finally been unleashed, though it arrives alongside a fairly mixed reception.

[Update]: Biomutant's newest preview shows off a strange yet incredibly charming world.

When Biomutant was first announced back in 2017 it immediately garnered a great deal of attention thanks to its charming characters and a ridiculously over-the-top premise. After all, it's not every day that you get to see a post-apocalyptic kung-fu RPG starring an assortment of sentient animals!

Unfortunately, despite the original announcement stating that Biomutant will release in 2018, things didn't exactly go according to plan and so Biomutant ended up being delayed. Things have been fairly silent since then, with the developers only releasing the occasional gameplay preview. All of that, however, will soon be changing for the better!

World of Warcraft has once again nerfed some of its toughest dungeon and raid bosses

[Update]: World of Warcraft's major Update 9.1 - Chains of Domination is going up for testing on the week of April 12, 2021.

Despite the previous round of nerfs, there are still some Mythic+ dungeons in Shadowlands that are far, far harder than their competition. Nowhere is this more apparent than in The Necrotic Wake and it's second boss Amarth. On Tyrannical weeks where bosses are more powerful the skeletons he frequently summons are capable of nearly one-shotting DPS players, while the amount of unavoidable damage thrown around is enough to make even the mightiest of healers suffer a bit of a breakdown.

As such, I am very pleased to say that Blizzard has now not only toned down some of The Necrotic Wake's brutality, but also extended the same treatment to other problematic bosses in both Mythic+ dungeons and the Castle Nathria raid. Plaguefall's Margrave Stradama will now be a lot gentler on healers, Sanguine Depths' first two bosses will deal a bit less damage, while the Spires of Ascension's final trash pack will no longer be twice as deadly as the boss itself.

Curse of the Dead Gods is an indie roguelite that's all about exploring a variety of dungeons littered with traps, dealing with all sorts of permanent curses, and naturally, hacking and slashing your way through hordes upon hordes of enemies. That last part is perhaps the most exciting as the combat system is rather weighty and fairly varied, with plenty of chances to either excel due to skillful play or merely fall flat on your face.

If that sort of thing sounds like it's right up your alley, you might be interested to hear that Curse of the Dead Gods will soon be launching from Steam Early Access. And when I say soon, I really do mean that as it'll be landing onto PC and consoles this February 23rd alongside a major update.
