[Update]: The Destroy All Humans! 2 remake has now been unleashed onto PC and consoles.
After the faithful remake of the original Destroy All Humans!, THQ Nordic and Black Forest Games are now working on giving the much more interesting sequel the same sort of treatment. What this means is that Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed will rebuild the original game from scratch, greatly enhance the presentation, as well as add a whole bunch of new customization options to play around with.
The good news doesn't end there, however, as Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed has now also received an actual release date! You can expect to see it land onto PC, PlayStation and Xbox on August 30th, 2022.

Inspired by the golden age of 3D platformers, the newly launched Kao the Kangaroo is an action-adventure that's all about exploring a colorful world while smashing your way through all sorts of wacky baddies. Along the way you'll have to solve puzzles, collect a bunch of goodies in order to unlock upgrades and costumes, and naturally, do a whole lot of jumping around as this is still a 3D platformer!
What Kao the Kangaroo looks like in actual gameplay, that you can find out through the launch trailer below. Have a gander, and I sure hope you like generic music!

[Update]: After two years in Early Access, Temtem has now finally been unleashed!
Temtem, much like the Pokemon series from which it draws a great deal of inspiration, is a creature collecting and battling RPG with a bit of exploration thrown into the mix to help spice things up. However, unlike the Pokemon games that are largely singleplayer experiences, Temtem is an MMO and is thus focused around player-to-player interactions like trading, adventuring, and naturally, dueling.
If that sounds like something you'd love to mess around with, you'll be happy to hear that after two years in Early Access Temtem is now slowly getting ready to be unleashed. In other words, you can expect to see version 1.0 to arrive onto PC and consoles on September 6th, 2022!

[Update #2]: It took a while for us to get the official announcement, but Returnal will be heading to PC in early 2023!
[Update]: The remastered Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is heading over to PC on October 19th.
Thanks to Sony recently boasting about how well their PC ports have done, as well as how much they have planned for the future, a fair few rumors started spreading about which games we might see make the transition onto PC next. While the truthfulness of many of these rumors is still in question, I'm happy to say that it looks quite likely that the bullet hell roguelike Returnal is indeed heading towards PC!
As noted on SteamDB, the freshly updated app named 'Oregon' sports a whole bunch of tags that very heavily point towards Returnal: third-person shooter, bullet hell, sci-fi, rogue-like, female protagonist, and the list goes on for a while. And just to really drive the point home, Oregon's update history also mentions Returnal's endless mode - Tower of Sisyphus.

Age of Empires 2 has recently received a brand new expansion, and now it's time for Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition to get some brand new toys as well. The Knights of the Mediterranean expansion brings with it Malta and Italy as two new civilizations with unique playstyles to explore, as well as an assortment of historical maps modeled after some of the most famous European conflicts.
For those of you that crave a bit of a different experience, there's also the casual friendly new game mode - Tycoon. Rather than focus on direct combat, Tycoon is all about achieving economic superiority and diving deep into some of Age of Empire 3's city-building strategies that don't usually get to shine in the competitive matches.

[Update]: ArenaNet has now detailed the massive class balance update slated for June 28th, 2022.
After a decade of absence, the Guild Wars 2 team has now started remastering and re-releasing the original Living World Season 1 episodes. The very first one Flame and Frost began the journey a short while ago, and now the appropriately titled Sky Pirates episode brings with it the continuation of the story and the long-lost introduction to Captain Mai Trin and detective Marjory Delaqua.
Just like last time, Sky Pirates will be a permanent addition that's freely available to all players. So whether you own the newest expansion or none at all, you'll be able to play through the remastered Living World Season 1 episodes at your own pace.

[Update #2]: Valve has just unleashed the second round of Team Fortress 2 fixes and improvements.
[Update]: Team Fortress 2's June 2022 update seems to have solved the bot and cheater epidemic!
If you haven't played Team Fortress 2 over the past few years, that's probably for the best as the once-great FPS has been completely infested by bots and cheaters. They endlessly spam voice lines, annihilate everything in front of them thanks to aimbots, adopt player names to make kicking them harder, and swarm servers in such numbers that actually trying to remove all of them is a Sisyphean task.
In an effort to get Valve to finally do something about this, the Team Fortress 2 community recently staged a peaceful protest. Given how hard it is to get even a single word out of Valve I figured they would stick to the usual routine and not say anything at all, but much to my surprise, Valve actually responded with some good news!

[Update]: The June update has now arrived alongside the Alchemy: Streets of New Capenna set, and I have to say, the new draft format is a glorious mess!
Ever since it first arrived, the biggest problem with MTG Arena's digital-only format Alchemy has been the price. Since most of the new cards are rares and mythics it's very difficult for casual players to craft a couple of good decks, let alone experiment with all of the new strategies and cards.
Well, after many months of complaints, I'm happy to say that it looks like Wizards of the Coast has finally listened! Once the 30-card Alchemy: New Capenna set lands onto MTG Arena this June 2nd, it'll bring with it less rares and more uncommons. Additionally, there will be an Alchemy themed Streets of New Capenna draft that will see one common card in each pack replaced with an Alchemy: New Capenna card of a random rarity.

[Update]: World of Warcraft has now added cross-faction grouping along with Dark Ranger themed character customization options for elves!
It took far too many years for us to get here, but I'm incredibly happy to say that World of Warcraft will finally be adding cross-faction grouping with Update 8.2.5 on June 1st. This first iteration of the cross-faction system will allow you to group up with either faction for most forms of instanced content: dungeons, raids, rated arenas and battlegrounds, as well as Torghast.
Once in a party you will remain unfriendly to members of the opposing faction, though you will be able to communicate with them through either group chat or proximity chat. Once you're actually in a dungeon, however, you will be able to do everything from sharing loot to earning achievements with them, just like you would with a member of your own faction.
