Dishonored 2's outsider screenshot

If you've already completed Dishonored 2 and feel the need to start up another playthrough, you'll be glad to hear that the most recent beta update has added a New Game+ mode to the PC version. As you would expect, it allows you to start the game with all of your previously unlocked traits and runes, but more interestingly, it allows you to combine Corvo and Emily's powers into a ridiculously overpowered character!

In order to unlock New Game+ you will need to actually beat Dishonored 2, but it doesn't matter which character you do it on. Whether you complete it with Emily or Corvo, you'll be able to use the other's powers once you start your New Game+ campaign, though you will need to unlock them as you would in a normal playthrough.

Besides the newly added New Game+ mode, the update has also brought in a couple of bug and performance fixes. The list isn't very long, so if you're interested in the specifics, here you go:

Overwatch Winter Wonderlands skin featuring Tracer, Mei, Lucio, and Torbjorn

After being teased for the better part of a month, the Winter Wonderland event has now finally made its way to Overwatch! There's a whole bunch of new cosmetics and taunts to collect, a festive brawl where you get to obliterate Mei's face with snowballs, a snow-covered version of King's Row and Hamanura, and perhaps most importantly, Symmetra's big rework that should make her an actual character once more.

If you're wondering what all of these changes and additions might look like in game, wonder no more as Blizzard has also released a brief preview trailer. Have a look:

Yooka-Laylee's rather colorful official artwork

If this is your first time encountering Yooka-Laylee, it is an upcoming 3D platformer (or more accurately a collectathon) greatly inspired by quite possibly the best game in the entire genre - Banjo-Kazooie. And speaking of upcoming, Playtonic has just now announced that Yooka-Laylee will be arriving on April 11 for both the PC and consoles!

In order to celebrate this announcement they've also released a brand new trailer showcasing the "Capital Cashino" zone, and if you ever had any doubts that this is basically Banjo-Threeie, prepare to have them dispelled. Anyway, here's the video:

TY the Tasmanian Tiger HD remake screenshot showing a snowy tundra

After many months of patches and updates, the HD remake of the classic 3D platformer Ty the Tasmanian Tiger has now officially released from Steam Early Access. And it would appear all those updates were well worth the trouble given that Ty currently holds an impressive 99% approval rating on Steam with around a 1000 user reviews - not something you see very often, especially not with Early Access games!

So if you're interested in seeing what the new and improved Ty the Tasmanian Tiger looks like, and more importantly what it plays like, you'll find the recently posted launch trailer right below. Have a look:

Space Hulk: Deathwing screenshot showing two Terminator Marines locked in combat

Space Hulk: Deathwing is a Warhammer 40k flavored shooter that's all about giant dudes in giant armor with giant weapons fighting against equally giant aliens. It was originally slated to arrive on December 9th, but due to various bugs and gameplay issues the release way delayed until December 14.

And now that December 14 is right around the corner, the developers have decided to release the most impressive trailer so far. It starts off a little bit slow due to all of the lore and storytelling, but once it gets going it is truly a sight to behold! So if you're even remotely interested in the Warhammer 40k world, you might want to have a look:

Dota 2's Monkey King comic seems to be teasing a brand new spirit hero

For those of you that might not know, Dota 2 has just been updated to version 7.00 with changes so big we might as well call it Dota 3 now. There's a brand new hero in the form of the Monkey King, heroes now have talents like in Heroes of the Storm, the UI has been completely redesigned, the map has received numerous changes, Roshan has been evicted from his ancient cave, and the list goes on. If you're interested in learning more about the whole update head on over here, but be prepared to lose at least an hour or two reading all of the changes!

And now for the topic at hand - the potential reveal of a new hero. In the recently posted "Legends of the Monkey King" comic the loudmouthed trickster finds him at odds with the four spirits of nature: Xin the Ember Spirit, Raijin the Storm Spirit, Kaolin the Earth Spirit, and an unknown fourth Spirit! While this might sound like a complete stretch, especially when you consider that this is just one little comic advertising a rather expensive Monkey King cosmetic, I do believe that Valve and Icefrog are currently teasing the identity of the next Dota 2 hero.

The Division's Falcon Lost incursion artwork

While The Division might not be up my alley in terms of gameplay, it is incredible to see how much effort Ubisoft is pouring into it. Even though we're currently many months after its original launch The Division is still receiving regular updates, and there's even been a Survival Mode DLC released a couple of weeks ago.

As you can probably guess from the title, that list will soon be getting expanded with a brand new patch for the PC version that will enable DirectX 12 support. It will also bring with it a couple of fixes for those using a controller, as well as improved performance for those with high CPU usage, and more importantly, for those using some of the higher resolutions.

Battlefield 1's Giant's Shadow free DLC map

Battlefield 1's first free DLC, Giant's Shadow, is set to arrive later today for those that have either preordered the WW1 shooter, or own its Premium Pass. For everyone else, however, the DLC will arrive on December 20, and don't worry, it will be equally as free.

In terms of content you can expect to see a brand new map set during the Battle of the Selle, the long-awaited spectator mode, and most interestingly of all, a crossbow that fires grenades... grenades! If that sounds like something you might enjoy, you'll find the incredibly brief teaser trailer showcasing both the new weapon and the new map right below. Have a look:

Clementine and Javier from The Walking Dead: Season 3 - A New Frontier

The third season of Telltale's The Walking Dead is set to arrive next week, December 20. It will bring with it a brand new protagonist to star alongside Clementine, a whole bunch of new madmen to run away from, and perhaps most surprisingly, one of the more famous characters from the comics.

If you're interested in seeing what all of this looks like, here's the recently posted preview trailer for Episode 1: A New Frontier. Before you dive in, however, do bear in mind that there are some minor spoilers in the video, most notably the reveal of the aforementioned character. So if you don't mind such things, here's the video:

Resident Evil 7 artwork featuring the Baker family

After they canceled Silent Hills and turned Resident Evil 6 into a generic co-op shooter, I pretty much gave up hope that Capcom would ever be able to create something interesting again. With that in mind I hope you can now understand how surprising it was for me to realize that Resident Evil 7 is not only an actual horror game, but one that appears to be actively avoiding all of the issues that plagued the last few games.

Just have a look at the three recently posted gameplay previews. They don't show much in terms of gameplay mechanics, but they do feature a gloomy atmosphere and a sense of inescapable dread - something I haven't seen in Resident Evil for a very, very long time! But enough rambling from me, here are the videos:
