If you're itching for a bit of medieval mayhem, you're in luck as the For Honor Open "Beta" has now begun. The reason I'm using quotation marks around beta is for the simple fact that we're currently less than a week from release, so whatever issues Ubisoft does manage to discover during this beta test are most likely not going to be fixed by February 14th. That said, this is a great way to demo For Honor without actually putting any of your money down, so make sure to pick your favorite faction and head on over to Steam.
And for those among you that know very little about For Honor, allow me to show you the recently posted 360° trailer. It won't really demonstrate what the gameplay is like, but it should give you a pretty damn good idea. Anyway, here's the video:

After spending a little while in Steam beta Fallout 4's High Resolution Texture Pack is now fully available. All you need to do is to head on over to Steam and press that shiny green download button, but do be warned as its a ridiculously large update, totaling at nearly 60GB in size!
Besides the need for 60GB of extra disk space, the High Resolution Texture Pack also requires an Intel Core i7-5820K CPU, 8 GB of RAM, and a graphics card as powerful as the GTX 1080 8GB. As you can see, those are some pretty damn steep system requirements, and that's just the minimum! As for whether the High Resolution Texture Pack is even worth all of the trouble, that's a bit more difficult to figure out.

If you ever wanted to give Heroes of the Storm a try, now would be the best time to do so as the upcoming For Azeroth promotion is going to give you an easy way to obtain a rather fancy in-game mount, as well as an even fancier World of Warcraft mount. All you need to do is play 15 games with a friend as a Warcraft hero, and unlike the previous Oni Genji promotion you don't even need to ensure you actually win!
The only catch is that there is a time limit, so if you want the Flames of Judgement Charger mount and the Primal Flamesaber WoW mount you'll need to complete the quest between February 14th and March 14th. And while its slightly less exciting than mounts made out of pure lava, its also worth mentioning that you'll get a 10-day Stimpack (think of it as an experience booster) as an added little bonus for completing the For Azeroth quest.
And for those of you that don't care about Heroes of the Storm and just want to burn through the whole event as quickly as possible, here's a brief little guide that should help you get it done within an hour or two:

As you might expect from a game that touts itself as a spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment, the world in Torment: Tides of Numenera has quite an extensive backstory and tons of interesting lore to uncover. Figuring all of this out when you're still new to the game is not the easiest of tasks, however, so the developers have decided to create a brief video introducing players to the world and the main story.
So if you're looking forward to playing Torment: Tides of Numenera, and would like to learn a couple of spoiler-free tidbits of information before diving in, make sure to check out the video. Have a look:

For those of you that might not be aware, Blizzard recently announced that Lucio from Overwatch will soon be joining the Heroes of the Storm roster. As with Zarya and Tracer that came before him, Lucio's Heroes of the Storm incarnation will arrive with all of the same spells and effects that make him so ridiculously good in Overwatch... and yes, this does include the ability to wall-ride!
If you're wondering what all of these spells look like in action, and more importantly, what fancy new skins you'll be able to get when the update goes live, here's the recently posted preview video showcasing just that:

If the currently ongoing Humble "Bandai Namco 2" Bundle has left you wanting for even more games to hoard, you might just be in luck. What I mean by this is that the Humble "Star Wars 3" Bundle has now arrived, bringing with it some of the best games that have ever graced the series.
There's Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, and a whole bunch more. If you're looking for all of the details here's a list of the games themselves, as well as how much you'll need to pay to unlock each of the tiers:

If you were unsuccessfully trying to play Resident Evil 7 while below or around the minimum system requirements, you might want to patch the game and see how you fare. The reason I'm saying this is because a recent update has added support for older generation CPUs, or more specifically, the game no longer requires the SSSE3 SIMD instruction set.
What this means in practical terms is that Resident Evil 7 is now capable of running on CPUs that are well over a decade old! You mileage will obviously vary as the developers aren't really capable of performing miracles, but if you're around the minimum system requirements you might just get to play it.

For those of you that might not know, WoW Tokens arrived in 2015 as a way for players to exchange in-game gold for 30 days of World of Warcraft game time. As you might imagine, this little experiment ended up being a massive success, and even though World of Warcraft's economy is in a constant state of inflation the WoW Token brought some much-needed value to the otherwise useless gold.
But now things have become even more interesting! In a recent update Blizzard has made it so you can transform your WoW Tokens into Battle.Net Balance, which is a fancy way of saying that you can now purchase Blizzard games and in-game items with World of Warcraft gold. If you're wondering how all of this works, here's the recently posted Blizzard video:

Rainbow Six Siege has recently been updated with Operation Velvet Shell, which among the variety of bug fixes and UI tweaks has also added two new Operators, as well as a free map by the name of Coastline. The two new Operators, Mira and Jackal, are currently exclusive to Season Pass owners, but don't worry, you'll be able to unlock them with Renown or R6 Credits in less than a week.
If you're wondering what the new map looks like, and more importantly, what the two new Operators bring to the table, here's the recently posted preview video. There isn't much pure gameplay in there, but it should still get the point across. Anyway, here's the video:

When Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire first begun its Fig crowndfunding campaign Obsidian put multi-classing as the initial stretch goal. This naturally led to some concerns about balance, because trying to keep a couple of classes relatively equal is a nearly impossible task, let alone trying to do the same balancing act with fifty of them!
In order to put some of these concerns to rest Obsidian has recently posted a detailed video going over how exactly multi-classing will work in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire. If this sounds incredibly boring to you, worry not as Game Director Josh Sawyer has quite the talent for making explanations interesting. Anyway, here's the video:
