H1Z1 screenshot from the new Auto Royale game mode

After spending quite a few years in Early Access, the battle royale shooter H1Z1 has now finally released in full. Besides the usual batch of quality-of-life changes and cosmetic additions, this latest update has also brought with it a brand new game mode - Auto Royale. As you might imagine from the name alone, it's pretty much the same style of battle royale gameplay, though spiced up by the fact that all teams are driving around in cars instead of running around on foot.

If you're wondering what all of this might look like in-game, wonder no more as the developers have recently posted a brief teaser trailer showcasing the Auto Royale game mode. Have a look, it's not a very long video:

Gwent arena artwork for Gaunter O'Dimm

This shouldn't come as much of a surprise given how often it was teased on Twitch these past few days, but Gwent's very own Arena game mode has now made its way to the live servers. The way it works is quite simple. While drafting your deck you will always have a choice between four completely random cards of the same rarity, and all you really have to do is pick the 25 cards and leader you think are going to be the most useful.

Once you have your deck assembled you will have to face off against your fellow players until you either achieve 9 victories or 3 losses. The more wins you get the greater the rewards will be at the very end, and as an additional little bonus, if you somehow manage to complete your Arena run without being defeated you will also be granted an animated Gold card. Not bad for a game mode that gives you 3 free tries!

After going through numerous closed beta tests Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is finally set to arrive on PC this March 8th. It'll bring with it a variety of new maps to explore and pillage, a horde of new enemies to relentlessly slaughter, and perhaps most interestingly, three new and unique specializations for each of the five heroes.

If you're wondering what all of this might look like in-game, wonder no more as the developers have just released a brand new gameplay trailer. The video isn't terribly long, but it should still give you an excellent idea of what Vermintide 2 is all about. Have a look, it's well worth the two minutes:

If you ignored the previous Humble Bundle because you're looking for something a bit more fast-paced than a classic cRPG, you might want to check out today's bundle. Despite having "Brawler" in the title it doesn't feature any actual brawlers, but there is a variety of fighting games on offer, some of which might just be up your alley.

You have games such as BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend and Skullgirls on the "pay what you want" tier, as well as Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- and Rivals of Aether on the highest tier. Rather than just babble on, allow me to share with you the list of games, as well as the tier they appear in. Have a look:

Q.U.B.E. 2 screenshot of a rather beautiful red tree

Q.U.B.E. 2 is an upcoming puzzle-exploration game that will have you step into the shoes of Amelia Cross, a British archaeologist that finds herself trapped on a strange alien planet littered with bizarre architecture. As you might imagine given the genre, in order to escape you'll have to conquer a variety of increasingly tricky puzzles and challenges, as well as figure out what in the world is even happening.

If you're interested in seeing what all of this might look like in-game, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer. It's not a very long video, but it'll give you a basic idea of what to expect from Q.U.B.E. 2. Have a gander:

Overwatch artwork for the 27th hero Brigitte

After being teased for around a week, Overwatch's 27th hero has now finally made its way to the PTR. What might come as a bit of a surprise, however, is that the 27th hero is not Emre Sarioglu as the first teaser would lead you to believe, but rather Torbjorn's daughter and Reinhardt's squire Brigitte!

You can read all about her abilities and lore by visiting the official website, but if you're just interested in the short version, let's just say that she's a tanky support hero that needs to keep hitting enemies in order to provide the vast majority of her healing. She also has a couple of displacement tools which sound like they were designed with anti-dive strategies in mind, so hopefully Brigitte will be the Tracer/Genji/D.Va/Winston counter that Overwatch has been needing for a while now.

Biomutant artwork of the main character

[Update #2]: Biomutant has now been pinned for a May 25, 2021 release date!

[Update]: The trailer has been removed for some unknown reason. You can find a brand new one in my more recent Biomutant preview.

Biomutant is an upcoming open-world, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu RPG that will allow you to mix melee attacks, shooting, and mutant abilities in order to wreak havoc on anything that dares stand in your way. While that alone might sound a bit generic, it is Biomutant's incredibly imaginative world and colorful art style that really sets it apart from the fairly overpopulated genre.

You can get a good glimpse at what Biomutant looks like, and perhaps more importantly what it plays like, through the recently posted gameplay teaser down below. It's not a very long video, but it should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from Biomutant. Have a gander:

Overwatch official screenshot of Sombra

After spending a surprisingly short amount of time on the PTR, the much-needed buffs to Sombra, Mei and Doomfist have now arrived onto the live servers! Doomfist's 'fingernail gun' now regenerates ammo slightly faster, Mei uses less ammunition for her alternate fire and her slowing effect lingers for slightly longer, while Sombra has been pushed away from a supportive role towards a more disruption/assassination based playstyle.

You can learn more about these changes by checking out the most recent Developer Update right below. If you don't feel like watching the video and just want the short version, however, I'll also include all of the major patch notes. Have a look:

System Shock Remastered screenshot of a zombie attack

[Update]: The System Shock Remake has now arrived, and it's looking quite good so far! The console versions are also on the way, though those will be coming at a later date.

Despite starting off extremely strong with a playable demo that managed to turn heads left and right, the development of the System Shock remaster has now unfortunately gone on hiatus. According to Nightdive Studios' CEO Stepen Kick this doesn't mean that the project is canceled, but rather that the team is taking a break in order to reassess their approach and return to the original vision.

The whole announcement is fairly brief, so allow me to just share with you the full quote. I'm afraid it won't give you much in terms of 'real' information, but it'll at least offer you some insight into System Shock's troubles. Have a look:

Guild Wars 2 official artwork of a flaming dragon

After being slightly delayed due to some unforeseen problems, Guild Wars 2's Living World Season 4: Episode 2 - A Bug in the System will be coming next week, on March 6th to be exact. You can expect to see a brand new chapter of the currently ongoing story, a large new map to explore, a new mastery to unlock, and for those of you that love fancy weapons, a new legendary dagger to slowly work towards!

You can get a good look at some of these new features through the recently posted trailer down below. It's not a very long video, but it's still one of the best teasers ArenaNet has released in quite a few years so I'd definitely recommend giving it a look if you're even remotely interested in Guild Wars 2.
