[Update]: The next big Sonic the Hedgehog game will focus on open-world exploration.
Sonic Mania Plus is set to arrive this July 17th, bringing with it a bunch of new content to play around with. You can expect to see two new and incredibly obscure characters (Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel), support for four-player multiplayer, a new Encore more that's supposed to provide plenty of replayability, as well as brand new zone to explore.
If you're wondering what all of this might look like in-game, wonder no more as the developers have recently posted a trailer. The gameplay parts are a little bit on the short side, but it should still give you a decent idea of what Sonic Mania Plus is trying to achieve. Have a look:

The PC version of Disgaea 5 Complete was supposed to arrive this May 7th, but unfortunately it would appear that it has now been delayed. As it turns out, players of the recently released demo have uncovered a potentially catastrophic issue, an issue that will take a bit of time and effort to resolve.
"As beta testing has been ongoing, we have been fixing bugs and issues as they were discovered. While working on corrections last night, we came across a new issue that requires additional attention that will take more time to resolve," explains the brief announcement. "Unfortunately, until this issue can be resolved, the release date will be postponed, and we are now targeting a release for Summer 2018. We offer our sincerest apologies to all who have been looking forward to this release of the game."

Despite being a zombie survival game in a sea of other zombie survival games, the original State of Decay managed to break away from the formula by focusing less on one overpowered character, and more on an entire community that had to work together in order to survive. It was most definitely a flawed game, but it was one with a whole lot of potential, potential that State of Dacay 2 will soon have a chance to try and live up to.
If you're curious about what all of this might look like in gameplay terms, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer. While it won't tell you whether State of Decay 2 is any good or not, it will at least give you a pretty darn good idea of what you can expect to see from it. Have a look:

Unlike the past few Humble Bundles which were all about the games, the recently launched Humble 'CryEngine' Bundle offers a combination of game-making resources and actual CryEngine games you can draw inspiration from. Expect to see setups, source files, training videos, project assets and animations, as well as a variety of games like Ryse: Son of Rome and Aporia: Beyond the Valley.
If this sounds like the type of bundle you would like to mess around with, you'll find the full list of features and games right below, as well as the pricing tier they appear in. Have a gander, it's quite an extensive list:

[Update]: Due to a massive error discovered in the demo, the PC version of Disgaea 5 Complete has now been delayed until summer. Unfortunately, this also means that the demo is going to be inactive until the error has been fixed.
The PC version of Disgaea 5 Complete, a rather well received JRPG with a focus on endless progression and completely ridiculous combat, is set to arrive this May 7th. As you might except given the name, the Complete Edition will bring with it all of the DLC, as well as all of the content that was previous exclusive to the PlayStation 4 version.
If you're wondering what all of this might look like in-game, or if you're just curious about the state of the PC port, you'll be glad to hear that the developers have now released a free demo. There is one catch, however, and that is the simple fact that you will need to go through Alienware Arena in order to secure yourself a copy. The whole process is still fairly simple, so don't let that discourage you from giving Disgaea 5 a try.

After going through an extremely successful Fig crowdfunding campaign and fairly smooth development, Pillars of Eternity 2 will be officially released this May 8th for PC, Mac and Linux. It will continue on with the original's storyline, while also adding player-control ships, the ability to wonder across a vast world in search of uncharted islands and ancient relics, a whole bunch of new enemies to battle against, and as expected, a variety of interesting companions to do all of that with.
If you're wondering what some of this might look like in-game, allow me to share with you the latest developer video. It's pretty much a highlight reel of some of the most interesting features and characters you'll get to mess around with, so I'd definitely recommend you give it a glance if you're on the fence about Pillars of Eternity 2. Here's the video:

[Update] The patch is now live. You can find the full patch notes, as well as more about the accompanying "The Queen and the Crone" DLC over here.
If everything goes according to plan, Total War: Warhammer 2 will be getting a massive update this May. Besides finally introducing Norsca into Total War: Warhammer 2, the update will also bring with it an assortment of balance changes and bug fixes, a brand new Giant Slayers unit for the Dwarfs, a major rework of the Skaven food mechanic, and the list goes on.
While all of the details have not been announced just yet, most likely not to take the thunder away from Thrones of Britannia's imminent launch, the devs did reveal that Norsca will be getting four additional Monster Hunts. So if you're up for acquiring a whole bunch of powerful artifacts, and perhaps even the giant beast itself, you will need to defeat the Mother of Flame (Flamespyre Phoenix), Gargantulzan (Carnosaur), Hellbeast of Seep-Gore (Hell-Pit Abomination) and the Beast of Raema (Hydra). You can get a sneak peek of them in action over here.

After the fairly well received Predator Mode back in late March, Attack on Titan 2 devs have now expanded the multiplayer with yet another game mode - Expulsion. However, instead of running around as a Titan and attempting to devour as many people as possible, the new Expulsion mode is all about competing with other players in order to see who can annihilate the most Titans within a 4 minute time limit.
The amount of points you get for each kill depend on the amount of Titan body parts you destroy, so make sure to do a bit of slicing and dicing before you go for the finishing blow. Naturally, going for the biggest amount of points is a relatively slow process, which means you're going to constantly have to watch out for other players as they can just swoop in and steal your kill. After all, it is a competitive free-for-all game mode!

Season 10 of Overwatch competitive play has now arrived, though unfortunately the Hanzo rework and its accompanying balance changes have not yet left the test servers. On the positive side, Brigitte has now finally become available in competitive play, which should shake up the meta quite significantly. Whether that is a good or bad thing, that still remains to be seen.
As far as the new payload map Rialto is concerned, you can expect to see it released on May 3rd. It's not going to be available in the competitive rotation until a future patch, but that's probably for the best given how confusing it can be to play on a completely new map, especially in competitive.

After being teased for quite a while now, Slay the Spire's long-awaited third character has now arrived onto the beta servers. Continuing with the tradition of bizarre and highly unique characters, the newly added The Defect is essentially a robot wizard that is built around using orbs that provide both passive and active bonuses. So far The Defect seems much more complex than both The Silent and The Ironclad since you can not only maintain three of these orbs, but also cycle through them in order to change up your tactics. Perhaps most importantly, however, he is also a whole lot of fun to play as!
If you would like to give The Defect a try, as well as offer the developers some much needed balance feedback, you should go and join the beta through Steam. Simply right click on Slay the Spire, go into Properties, select the Beta tab, and then choose the new beta branch from the dropdown menu. Once you've done that the download should start automatically, after which you'll be able to juggle magical orbs to your heart's content.
