[Update #2]: Hogwarts Legacy has now arrived, and I'm happy to say that it's looking quite good so far!
[Update]: Hogwarts Legacy devs have now detailed the PC system requirements and their expected performance.
Given how little we've heard about Hogwarts Legacy recently, it might not come as too much of a surprise to hear that it will not be launching in late 2022 as previously announced. Instead, the new release date has now been pinned for February 10th, 2023 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, while the launch date for the Switch version will be revealed at some point 'soon'.
The brief developer update has not offered any sort of explanations, but given the relatively short delay I can't imagine it's anything too serious. The team probably just needs a bit more time to get everything polished up and ready to go, and if that's the case, then I'm more than happy to wait a little while longer to get a fully finished experience as the concept behind Hogwarts Legacy really is quite neat!
As for what exactly the gameplay is even all about, that you can a pretty decent idea of through one of the previews released earlier this year. Have a gander:
Should any more delays surface, I'll make sure to let you know. For now, however, you can learn more about Hogwarts Legacy and its world over at the official website. Enjoy!
