Rocksmith+, Ubisoft's game about learning how to play the guitar, is launching on September 6th

Rocksmith+, much like the original Rocksmith, is both a rhythm game and a tool to help you learn how to play the guitar or bass. It's similar in many ways to the Guitar Hero series, though the big difference is that Rocksmith actually wants you to use a proper guitar in order to play along.
For the upcoming Rocksmith+ this can be done with either a cable, or more conveniently, a free app that will essentially track your accuracy by transforming your phone into a microphone. While this whole thing is certainly a fun and potentially handy idea, there is unfortunately a bit of a catch - the price.
Moonbreaker is Subnautica studio's upcoming miniature-based tactics game

[Update #2]: With its very first major update, Moonbreaker has removed all of its monetization!
[Update]: Moonbreaker has now arrived alongside mostly positive reviews on Steam.
After experimenting with both a multiplayer shooter (Natural Selection 2) and a nearly combat-free exploration game (Subnautica), Unknown Worlds Entertainment are looking to try something a little bit different with the upcoming Moonbreaker. As such, Moonbreaker is going to be a turn-based strategy game heavily influenced by tabletop tactics games.
The most obvious comparison here is the simple fact that all of your units in Moonbreaker will be adorable little miniatures in action poses. And in true tabletop fashion, you'll also be able to paint literally every single part of your miniatures in order to have them look exactly as awesome (or as garish) as you like!
Colorful co-op beat 'em up River City Girls 2 is coming to PC and consoles later this year

Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, River City Girls 2 will be a colorful and co-op focused beat 'em up that will see you smash your way through hordes upon hordes of enemies with a variety of unique characters. However, as befitting a sequel, River City Girls 2 will expand on pretty much every aspect of the original.
As such, you can expect to see four player co-op instead of simply two-player, all of the previous characters alongside two new additions, as well as an assortment of new moves, combos and character-specific abilities. River City itself will also feature a day and night cycle alongside more complex terrain, more shops, hazards and hidden areas, and most importantly of all, a lot more destructible objects to mess around with!
After nearly a year of frequent updates, Vampire Survivors will soon be leaving Early Access

[Update #2]: Vampire Survivors has now been unleashed from Early Access alongside a sizable content update.
[Update]: In preparation for the upcoming launch, the Vampire Survivors team has now increased the price tag. Don't worry, it's still going to be dirt cheap!
When it comes to both quality and quantity, Vampire Survivors' updates have been genuinely impressive. Every couple of weeks the developers would unleash even more characters, maps, items and secrets to mess around with, as well as a whole host of quality-of-life improvements based on community requests. For a game that is still €2, that really is quite something!
After about a year of doing this, the Vampire Survivors team is now slowly getting ready to make the final step and fully launch from Early Access. As such, the recent Update 0.11.0 will be the last major content patch before Vampire Survivors' release, though there will still be smaller updates with tweaks, bug fixes and tiny bits of content to help flesh everything out for the big day.
Halo Infinite's co-op campaign, Forge editor and Season 3 have been delayed until November

[Update]: The latest developer update has detailed some of the fundamentals behind the Forge editor.
If you were hoping Halo Infinite would get itself into shape any time soon, I'm afraid you're out of luck. I say this because the September developer update has now arrived, and it has mostly brought with it a whole bunch of delays.
As such, the co-op campaign has now been pushed further back, this time around until the Winter Update period that starts on November 8th. On the other hand, split-screen co-op has been canceled entirely as 343 Industries are needing to spend the time and resources elsewhere.
Anno 2070's Update 3.0 will preserve online functionality even after Ubisoft's servers shut down

[Update]: The patch has now gone live without too much trouble, though sadly all of the DLCs have been delisted from Steam.
This October 1st Ubisoft will be shutting down online functionality for a whole bunch of their older games, including Anno 2070. However, in a refreshing little twist, the Anno team has decided to spare their game this fate by seemingly bypassing Ubisoft's servers entirely.
As such, thanks to the upcoming September 7th Update 3.0, Anno 2070's online functionality will be preserved for a long time to come! What this means is that you'll be able to continue doing World Events and vote in council elections, keep your current save files and progression, as well as dive into any of the multiplayer modes.
Sonic Frontiers' latest preview details what the gameplay is actually about

[Update]: Sonic Frontiers has now arrived onto PC and consoles alongside some highly divisive reviews.
Instead of starting off their presentation with a bang and getting everyone hyped about Sonic Frontiers, the Sonic Team decided to first showcase incredibly slow combat encounters and a map that mostly consisted of empty space. Needless to say, this caused the general opinion about Sonic Frontiers to crater as the game looked unfinished at best, and utterly boring at worst.
In most cases that would be where the story begins and ends, but thankfully it looks like Sonic Frontiers' biggest issue was its marketing and not the actual gameplay. So as a part of the newest preview, Sonic Team has now returned to detail everything Sonic Frontiers has to offer as well as what it's open world level design is really like. Have a gander:
