Action puzzle-platformer N++ is coming to PC later this year

While I haven't played N++ I've probably spent over a hundred hours with its predecessor during the many repetitive lessons back in my high school "IT" class. It was a simple game with easy to understand controls and a difficulty hump so massive you needed climbing gear to get over it.

But overall it was an immensely fun experience so I'm glad I can tell you that the much improved and sadly PS4 exclusive N++ will be making its way to Steam later this year. While not officially announced just yet the co-founder of Metanet Software, Raigan Burns, said on NeoGaf that they are currently working on porting the game to Steam.

Here's the full message:

Warhammer 40k: Eternal Crusade - Early Access Review (February 7th)

My gameplay impressions of Warhammer 40k: Eternal Crusade

[Update]: After many struggles, Warhammer 40k: Eternal Crusade has now closed its doors.

Once finished, Eternal Crusade is going to be a large scale action MMO where four unique factions (Space Marines, Chaos, Eldar and Orks) vie for supremacy over a war-ravaged world.

However, as of right now Eternal Crusade is an objective based third person shooter very similar to the Battlefield franchise. It features only two out of the four factions (Space Marines and Chaos), a handful of maps and a bunch of interesting systems that are either unfinished or hampered by poor performance. But most noteworthy is the fact that its actually a lot of fun to play.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 myClub has arrived on Steam

I've never been much of a fan of soccer, or football as its known in Europe, but I am well aware I'm in a very small minority compared to the amount of people who simply adore it.

The reason I mentioned that is because I have managed to completely miss the Steam release of the much anticipated Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 myClub, a free to play spin-off of the popular PES series. Here's the official trailer though fair warning, the constantly cutting-off music might drive you insane:

Puzzle-platformer Unravel is arriving to the PC, Xbox One and PS4 this February 9

Unravel was first announced and demoed at the most recent E3 and despite being a relatively small indie game it absolutely stole the show on account of its stylish design and great presentation by one of the developers.

A couple of months have passed since then and the cutesy puzzle-platformer Unravel is just about ready to be fully released this February 9th. Here's a video of a developer showcasing Unravel's gameplay mechanics:

Pillars of Eternity is getting a game of the year edition

With the second Pillars of Eternity "expansion" White March: Part 2 concluding this chapter of the story it only makes sense to bundle it all together in to one package.

What does surprise me however is that according to an Amazon.de product listing that Gamebanshee discovered the Pillars of Eternity: GOTY is set to arrive only a couple of days after White March: Part 2, on February 19th.

Firewatch is coming this February 9th, 4 new trailers released

Firewatch is a visually gorgeous narrative-driven adventure game where you play the role of a park ranger who along with his chatty companion needs to ensure that the entire forest doesn't get consumed in a blazing inferno. A seemingly easy task and one that's perfect for a man who has a book to write but things don't always work out as planned.

To remind everyone of its upcoming February 9 release the developers, Campo Santo, have released not one, not even two but four fancy new trailers showcasing what exactly Firewatch is about. Here they are:

Dead By Daylight Is A Recently Announced Asymmetrical Survival-Horror Game

Dead by Daylight is an upcoming asymmetrical survival horror game

You know how in every game that features rogueish characters there's that one guy that just never fights fair and always seems to stalk people for way too long before finally catching them off guard and getting an easy kill? What would you say if I told you there's an entire game being built around that concept?

Dead by Daylight is a recently announced asymmetrical survival-horror game where a group of four survivors needs to complete a series of objectives and make their escape while the fifth player controls the deranged psychopath that is out to isolate and destroy them one by one. Here's the developer diary explaining the concept in a bit more detail:
